Default Girls stealing from my locker

So I was out of work for a few weeks and the last time I was at work I had to have my lock cut off becouse I left my key at home.

I thought I would be going back in the next day but it ended up being a few weeks before I got back to work.
Well, the whole time I hoping and praying that nobody steals anything from my locker since there was no lock on it.

And all of my clothing, jewelry, ect is in there! When I left I knew most of the girls so I hoped at best they would keep an eye out on my locker for me (I know never trust anyone at work..but I had to have something to keep me from imagining the worst--like everything being gone :o)
So anyway, I go back to work and we have like 20 new girls working and a new house mom so im thinking ''shit, everything I own is going to be gone''
Well, this is the wierd part. All of my expensive dresses, gowns, bikini's ,and jewelry were there. But someone had stolen my picture of my boyfriend off my locker door ???
Im thinking WTF why on earth would anyone steal a picture of my boyfriend?(It was my fav. picture too)

Well even though most of my stuff was there I also noticed someone had stolen my victoria's secret vanilla spray and my earrings(cheap, rhinestone one's)
Then later I smell my vanilla perfume on a girl im kind-of friends with(who always asked me to use it) and I mention to her how some of my stuff had been stolen she said''oh, I was watching out for your locker, but I borrowed one of your necklaces it's at home i will bring it back.''

Just wondering if anyone else has ever dealt with this and how they handled it and wanted to share how strange it was that my bf's picture was gone.
Should I just let it go since nothing was really expensive or should I look at the princiable of the situation. Someone violated my property and stole from me and one of them was my supposed ''friend''.

Anyway, one lesson I learned never, ever leave my locker without a lock again!
I got so lucky. Someone could have taken everything. But they diden't they took odd personal things ???
People can be strange that's for sure.

Youre lucky.. I'd just let it go. I've never had anything stolen because I'm really obsessive about locking everything up and won't even leave anything expensive in my locker in the first place. I always buy those locks that have like three layers of metal and plastic, where its almost impossible for someone to break into. I've had someone try to break in and it only cracked the first layer of the lock... So its definately worth spending some extra money on a really good lock. Most dressing rooms I've seen have a video cam in them, so management can record anyone stealing. Usually the tapes get recorded over within a couple days so you have to let them know right away that something was stolen.

Maybe all the girls at your club are smarter than girls at the clubs ive worked at... It never makes any sense to me, why you would steal another girls thongs, dresses, outfits, shoes, etc... You obviously can't wear it at the same club because I think the girl you stole it from will notice it... and who the hell wants to wear someone else's thong and stripping clothes.. eww...
*yes, I'm still bruised and sore..*

Your 'friend' with the necklace stole your stuff. She sucks- let it go, but don't trust her. You don't 'borrow' stuff from someone without asking- cuz then it's stealing!

No one took your dresses/costumes because they would be recognizable as yours.

You're lucky. The people I'm around would steal anything not tied down. My pal had a very old Ocean Pacific butt-floss bikini stolen off the dressing room counter, and we marvelled at who would be icky enough to steal an outfit that was half-way up someone's butt. And antique on top of that.
Be advised, be wise to "friends" now, sweetie.

You're VERY LUCKY, I once had a very cool tiger print bikini stolen, while I was in the bathroom stall. Bitch took off w/it. Never found anything I liked as nice w/the same design, bought it used from another girl. Also while in the bathroom of another place, a girl who didn't like me spit in some outfits, whatta trasho. Saw her recently too, she look bad. Another club, girl left her CDs, & quit, what I didn't have to go thru to help her get them back. She had been with the boss awhile back, & he had a major vendetta against her. Turns out, after I helped her get 'em back, another girl left CDs, the boss thought they were previous girl's, just THREW THEM OUT!! So this innocent girl lost her CDs for nothing.

I don't leave anything in my locker, lock or no lock. Its easy to push the metal sides in. I had a lot of $$ stolen from my locker when I was a newbie
by a chick who had a locker next to mine. She just pushed the dividing metal strip that separates the lockers and took it plus a bikini and a pair of gold platforms. The mgr got my clothes back but, she stuffed my money.

Yes, you are VERY lucky. I once left my suitcase at work, only one day, the next day I came in EVERYTHING was gone.... And I mean everything, someone just dumped it out. Ah well, I guess it happens. But remember the lockers are there for reason and you should ALWAYS lock them up, no matter what. I work at a club where it looks like no one steals, but I have never seen anyone leaving stuff open so maybe that's why no one steals.
Glad none of your outfits were taken! And next time make sure you have a copy of the pictures you love, then you won't feel the brunt of losing them!

Stole the pic of your boyfriend?? I dunno...sounds kinda like SWF to me.

Don't leave your stuff ever again...and don't trust the girls there, either. It's one thing to be on good terms with them...but never trust them.

THAT'S the movie I was trying to think of! Single White Female! Yes, first thing that popped into my mind too, especially with the random personal items! Weirdo! Everywhere I have ever worked, except this new club for some reason, but I think it's awesome, anyway, everwhere else, getting shit stolen if it's not locked up is like a given!

Wow, it never ceases to amaze me. We get so jaded - actually get USED to working with theiving ass bitches!!! Its hard to work around people so dishonest, but it comes with the territory.

Now you know her true colors - at minimal cost to you! If a girl is SO broke that she has to STEAL cheap ass shit, thats really pathetic!!

At my club, the dressing room always has everyones bags and makeup ALL over the floor, a lot of the girls dont even use lockers. We only get things missing when a lot of new girls come in. Needless to say, stealing is minimal *knocks on wood* - the past 2 months I havent been able to find my keys to my lock so I leave my dance and makeup bag under the counter where everyone else flings their stuff, and I have never had a problem. I DO put my purse in the mgr's office.

Oh yeah, except one time two years ago, someone stole my fucking FAVORITE PAIR jeans and I had to go home in my booty shorts and a long shirt. RRR.

^ I don't think it's just with our profession. When I worked in the Corporate world, people would steal things all of the time. I had someone steal my Starbucks coffee mugs (those cool travel ones) ALL the time...EVERY time I got a new one. I couldn't even leave it in my office without having the person walk in and take it. It took me MONTHS to find out who did it...but I eventually did...and they got fired (yeah, over coffee mugs...but they were going into an unauthorized area and removing items which were not theirs...).

It goes on in every kind of work...it's just more "detrimental" it seems when someone steals your clothes.

I was having items "borrowed" from me all the time, and yeah, it's usually the wierdest items - cheap jewelery, facewash, towels. I picked up a train case w/ a lock, but still use a locker to stash my money. Sheesh, from what Farrah said, maybe i'm even being too lenient w/ it? I guess I should start stashing it in my trunk or something.
...and the day came, when the risk it took to remain closed in a bud became worse than the risk it took to blossom.

I work in some small clubs with no lockers and even with only 4-5 girls working sometimes get nervous leaving stuff at work.

My fiancee'constantly gets on me about leaving things at work.

I worked at a club in Kansas City some years back that was padlocked shut by the feds and all of our stuff had to stay there.

Strip clubs could be hit on by the law at any time and I personally believe it is better to leave NOTHING in a locker when you are not working!

Take your stuff home with you every night!!

Wow. That's really weird that someone would steal your BF's picture. Kinda creepy too. I can see if you left your locker unlocked that they might take your perfume or jewelry or clothes or something......but your BF's picture? That's way messed up.

I know it is very creepy. I really want to know who took it!
My Boyfriend however was quite flattered that someone would steal his picture
I have a lock on now but after reading what tina and others said im thinking about taking a suitcase with me next time I go to work and putting my stuff in there and just dragging it back and forth.
The only cool thing about my locker is that it's right by the large mirror and there is alot of room for me to put on my makeup.
Plus my locker number is 69
But yeah, the picture thing freaked me out who knows why they took it and worst yet what they are doing with it now. :o

At the end of the night pack it up and take it home. I bought little containers to keep things in that way I could easliy set up next time I worked, and my duffle bag folded neatly while I was working.

One year for my birthday of all days, my favorite spray came up missing, and everyone gave me a birthday stage lapdance. All I could think was "one of you stole my spray, was it you?"

Lock it up while you're there, and take it home. It's the only way to keep your things. Soooo many outfits you can't find again. It so sucks.

As I told my GF here is a recipe to stop thieves.

put nair or a powerful hair removal creme in a beautiful name brand shampoo bottle.. You will spot the criminal quick.. and it's not your fault that she steals and that you needed a new bottle for your nair...

Lotion.. Put tanning lotion called fire with extra tingle or Cayenne pepper in the lotion and you will notice who stole your lotion...

Itching powder or Cayenne pepper in a decoy clothing you don’t' care about...

A little creativity can go a long ways

This stuff isn’t' nice, but neither is stealing...

Okay this is going to souund stupid, but it wasn't stupid to me. When I went to my college orientation I got this GORGEOUS light blue pen with my school logo on it. It was my favorite pen, not only cause it was pretty, but because it represented my first step towards getting where I was going and anyway, I had like no money whatsoever and hadn't gotten anything new in like 2 years...so my new pen meant alot to me, as gay as it sounds. Well, at the time I worked at a nice Italian Food restaurant...and I had my pen with me one day, and this mean fat bitchy cook lady STOLE it. I had it sitting on my table when I was on break and didn't notice, but later I saw it on her chef hat, and my friend went and told her it was mine and I loved it and wanted it back and she said She'll just have to come get it then....and well...she was HUGE and scary and I didnt wanna....so I lost my new pen.

Just another anecdote of the stealing mean ness all over.

At work, though, now...I trust *one* person anywhere near my stuff and thats the lovely girl that I share a locker with. So she trusts me with her stuff, and I trust her with mine. Otherwise its locked up like fort knocks...or whatever it is...
