I have worked night shift at my job off and on for about 8 years you just get used to the routine the toughest part was trying to get to sleep when you get off at after midnight you are still wired from a full days work.
I often can't get to sleep until about 4 or 5 in the morning and then wake up at noon it all depends on what you have to do during the day before work.

Sometimes I work and don't get home till 4-5AM and then have 8AM class. It sucks.

I got drugs from my doctor. Provigil. It flips the wakey switch in your brain without affecting the rest of your nervous system. Your body will still feel kind of tired but your brain is awake and you can get stuff done.

Well, I have been on full time night shift for 4 1/2 years. Your inner clock gets used to it. I usually get to bed between 3-4 a.m. I'm back up around 8 a.m. with my son . On the nights that I am not working, I can't get sleepy until 3-4 a.m., again :. On the weekends, I usually sleep until noon...
