I always wonder what interesting desktop themes we all have. Thought it would be cool to start a thread. I just changed mine today from "Winnie The Pooh" to this one.. lol

Rhi, I want to post mine! How did you post the pic? Meaning did you physically take the picture with a camera or is there another way? ???
do a crtl+alt+printscreen, and that will capture your desktopOriginally Posted by VADEN link=board=30;threadid=14159;start=msg187164#msg18 7164 date=1096913436
in Microsoft paint, on another photoediting program, paste (crtl+v), resize the picture, and save as a .jpg.
hope that helped
Thanks AGuy!
Ok, I did ctrl/alt/printscreen
Did not work ????
Were you holding them down at the same time?Originally Posted by VADEN link=board=30;threadid=14159;start=msg187177#msg18 7177 date=1096914229
make sure you follow these steps:
#1: minimize all open windows
#2: click once on our desktop
#3: Press and hold briefly all of the following - crtl+alt+printscreen
#4: Paste into Paint
#5: Resize in paint (or other program)
#6: save as a .jpg
see if that works. Not sure why it didn't work the first time![]()
Ok...Let's see if it worked.....ers:
Woo Hoo! It worked! Thanks AGuy! I change my desk top all the time, but this one really moves me...![]()

Idealism is fine, but as it approaches reality, the costs become prohibitive.

Former SCJ now in rehab.
I love your picture VenusGoddess with the dolphin. Very cute. I've always wanted to swim with them. My desktop is just plain though.
Right now it's Jaime. It was Collette (Rick's dancer) last week.

Straight from the lab (with a preview)...
HeroesWe all imagine ourselves the agents of our destiny, capable of determining our own fate. But have we truly any choice in when we rise, or when we fall, or does a force larger than ourselves bid us our direction. Is it evolution that takes us by the hand, does Science point our way, or is it God who intervenes keeping us safe.
So much struggle for meaning, for purpose. And in the end, we find it only in each other. Our shared experience of the fantastic. And the mundane. The simple human need to find a kindred, to connect. And to know in our hearts... that we are not alone.
Mine is the same as Pryce's except the backgound color is blue, it is Windows Classic view, and I have larger fonts on the icons.
I am boring, live with it.
Better late than never I suppose.
