Default Dances, Names, etc

allright, I just turned 18 about 8 days ago. I have always wanted to be a model (nude and semi-nude) but tonight I was offered a stripping job. I have so many questions and no one around to ask. What if you are not sure about your dancing "abilities?" How do you pick a stage name? (I was thinking maybe Sapphire?) and I was wondering, by matter of opinion, should I go tanning for this? How do I do my hair? I am so confused right now....I was just offered the job about an hour ago, can anyone help? ???

Utterly Stupefied,
Sapphire ???

Hey, Sapphire. Most girls know instinctively how to move erotically. Just do it with a little rhythm on stage. The music doesn't matter, as long as it's unobtrusive. Look guys in the eye. If you get turned on, don't hide it. Your stage appearance is your ad for a lap dance. Wear your hair the longest it will go, but not straight. Do crawling and spreading. Think sexy, and you'll act sexy; your aim is to turn guys on.

Tan lines are always interesting. I would say that your stage name should be an ordinary name, not typical of strippers.

LMAO!!! ya right. Euphoric, don't worry. Just ACT like your turned on, but in reality you're probably going to be thinking how much you hate the men watching you. Just try not to show it too much. (I learned the hard way)

Stripping actually turns me on! So if you feel that way, go for it - hopefully that will translate into more tips and lapdances for you! Best of luck Sapphire!

Shake whatca momma gave ya and make some money.

I would highly recommend getting a tan, no one likes pale dancers.
Do your hair the sluttiest you can, if that makes sense, you get what I mean.
Pick a name thats not super unique, too weird of a name gets to freaky.
Always smell sweet. If you smell "ok" then its not good enough.

A tan is not neccessary to be a dancer. Some girls do NOT look good with tans (I'm one of them), and the whole skin cancer thing doesn't really appeal to everyone.

You probably already know what "look" works for you, just go with it, and you'll learn more about what works and doesn't as you go.

This depends on the type of club you work at. I work at an upscale gown club...so the really slutty look doesn't go over well, here. They're looking for more "polished" girls. There is another club around that isn't a gown club...and there...anything goes...the more different you can make yourself look (no schoolgirl outfit, etc) the better off you are.

Experiment at home...and see what "fits" you.

First of all, the only "right" way to do your hair, pick a name, color your skin, etc, is how it works best for YOU. And there's nothing wrong with straight hair and no tan. Everyone has a different definition of beauty.

If you have no clue about it all, then go to a club and watch the other girls. I also have a few video clips of stage shows/pole work, pretty decent quaility, that I picked up here and there on the web, so if you want them, PM me, and I'll get them to you.

Read the articles on this site, through the old posts, and don't rush into making any decisions, although sometimes jumping in head first is the only way to get moving.

Good luck, let us know how it goes!

I have 10 short videos totalling just over 40 MB. The only way I can think of getting the files to you would be through my FTP server, but you would need an FTP program to connect to me (CuteFTP, WSFTP). I'll set up a folder for stripperweb members but I'm not posting my IP address in the thread. PM me for it. DCFoxx, I'll PM you as soon as I set it up.
