Default Receipts and Credit Card Charges

    ???
Curious Wife: "Honey, if this Sapphire place you went a nice restauraunt?"

    :o
Terrified Husband: (Thinking: Oh Shit!! She found that receipt!! ) "Uhh, what honey? What'd you say? It was well....okay and all. I don't think you'd really like it. The uhh...food was subpar. A client recommended it."

Perhaps, you guys have had a similar conversation with your S.O. (or maybe your boss).

I found this reciept digging through my Vegas souvenirs today.

I've always found the clever way adult businesses try to make any record of your patronage look discreet rather amusing.

Being single and wise enough not to ever use a CC in a club, having my "escapades" scrutinized isn't something I've had to deal with personally. (More power to me until Ms. Right shows up I guess.)

What's the strangest receipt/charge that you've ever seen, and have you ever gotten an inquiry by someone on what exactly that receipt/charge was for? Did you fess up and admit that you were ogling naked women or buying porn, or did you lie your way out of that inquisition.

LMAO DrC Im still trying to convince my accountant that 3080 Inc is a nice quiet pub perfect for customer conversation LOL

I never run a tab on my personal CC only my company CC. I try my best to at least arrange for a customer to stop by for a beer or two to make it legit. If not, then I shift into creative mode LOL My visit last week was perfect. My customer and his customers were in. I picked up a couple of rounds on my tab so all was good.

My tabs usually arent all that huge...$100 to $150 dollars. One time I had a $400 tab...it was a customer xmas party thing where FBR was showing his appreciation for their business LOL My accountant drilled me on that one so I, as President, had to tell him to shut the f*ck and and post the damn expense LOL

I learned the hard way not to use plastic. Besides the humongous charges on my cards and having to set aside a considerable monthly amount to pay them off and not using them in the meantime all save one of the charges have the respective clubs' names on the tabs (Divas International, wow ). One reason not to pay for private dances :-/. Good thing I'm single

I use my business CC at one particular club that I feel very comfortable with.... I fear being ripped off at any others LOL

The receipt is titled "Jake's Fine Foods" LMAO

I just hope my boss never comes with me and asks to go to that Jakes place with the fine food :o .... Yea ok boss, but we better eat first

I always pay cash. On the rare occassions that I've expensed SC activities I've kept the $ amount fairly low and used another restaurant or bar name without a receipt.

I've been to Cafe Anzio, Blue Parrot, Manlo Enterprises altogether too often. Where are these places? Regular life for me.

Vivace Hotel (that one even fooled me, it was from Toronto). I'm going why did the hotel charge me that and what funny name. LMAO!

I guess Chuck has it the easiest, tonite. The reciept will be from a real bona fide restaurant, but it's the company that's the secret.

The funny thing is, the receipt above was for a cash transaction.

I just wonder if some travelling businessmen who have been explicitly told by their employer that they CANNOT put strip club expenses on their company credit card, would ever try the following:

    1. Go eat on their own dime at a cheap restauraunt.

    2. Go to the SC and pay cash for everything.

    3. Save the receipt(s) to this "restauraunt" and turn it in to get reimbursed.

If your employer was Las Vegas based or even in California, and knew what "Sapphire" really was, you of course probably couldn't do this, but one travelling from back East where the club might not be so well known might just be able to pull it off.

On the other hand, the phone number is right on the receipt and having your employer simply type that into Google might end up busting you. But look at what came up in the search results when I tried it.

"Uhh, yeah boss, that mortgage company serves one damn fine top sirloin."

My club is called Players Showgirls... yet it comes up as "Gents on Orchid" on any receipts LOL!

We joke with the customers that they can pull it off as shoe store or something really mundane. "Gents on Orchid" does not in any way sound like "Players Showgirls" or a strip club.

Only those "in the know" will realise what Gents on Orchid really is... LOL!

How's this for someone trying to explain where the money went to his wife?

    http://fredericksburg.com/News/FLS/2...122003/1131514

"Ware admitted upon further questioning that he had actually paid a stripper $170 plus a $30 tip, Stout said. He told police he made up the robbery story to avoid explaining to his wife what happened to the money. "

I worked as an Engineer in the Semiconductor Industry for a couple of years back in the mid 80's. There was a situation with a multi million dollar project at Texas Instruments in Houston being way beind schedule and I was sent in to handle it. After being frustrated by a union type slowdown for a few days I took everyone to lunch at Rick's.

Lunch turned to dinner and eventually breakfast. A month later I was called into my boss's office to explain a $4800 credit card tab and he actually ASKED me what a table dance was.

    Dumb Baptist.

I took him to lunch and showed him.

He swore it would never fly.

I pointed out that before that "lunch" we were weeks behind and over budget. A month later we were under budget and ahead of schedule because I had promised all inattendance another night out at Rick's.

I got it approved, spent almost $6000 the 2nd time and my head swelled so much I started flying first class all the time.

Damn but those were the days!

Bottom line for me aty the time was it was a company card and they had to pay it anyway. I was leaving in a few months anyway

I've used sex and strippers to grease deals ever since.

Remember Dallas? JR was my hero!

I have a difficult time meeting ladies!
