    Default GP - Guy Politics

I hate going to SC with a bunch of guys. I hate hearing the snide comments they make about the dancers, especially my fav’s. They are embarrassing and obnoxious. Especially when I decide to get a dance. “Oh there he goes, hey Chuck why don’t you just get a room”?
I don’t mind meeting up with fellow regulars, they can be a blast. Yep, Guy Politics suck!

Snide comments? Like... "You spent what? And you didn't even get laid? LMAO. That's one of the reasons I started going alone.

And yes meeting other regulars is always good. There was one older gentleman that was almost like a neighbor. For months it seemed he always camped right next to me with his regular in the VIP. Finally met him in the main room a few weeks ago. He is in deep. Thank god I'm not the only one. Retired and travels club to club. Has Faves in many cities. Oh what a life!!!

Chuck - I haven't gone with anyone to a SC since my being a Born Again PL. However, I do hear the male posturing and snide comments from other around me, and I pretty much think its all as stupid as possible.

Sometimes I take matters into my own hands. One time (at band camp....) two guys next to me were savaging the dancers at my favorite haunt. I don't care what one says to another, no matter how bad it is, unless it seems that it will be insulting or threatening to a particular dancer (because until that happens, how does anyone know that its all talk and no action). They kept referring to one dancer as "Fat Ass" (and she did NOT have a fat ass) and saying how they will abuse this other dancer in the VIP Room. I told the dancer and some other dancers who I knew on the side about their comments. They avoided the guys like they had Leprosy, and they eventually left saying "This Place Sucks". I don’t say things that often, but when I do, I am glad that it helps out.

PJ thats realy cool of you. i thought i was the only guy in the world who had any respect for dancers. i hear scientists are actualy close to proving that dancers may even be human beings. naturaly more testing will be needed before a conclusion is reached.

I dont really like going with my guy friends that arent regulars, b/c it seems like dancers seem to avoid us (maybe b/c we are always joking around and laughing..but thats how we always are, and the jokes are never about the dancers, but they dont know that). Its kinda funny though when my best friend says "shit man, i spent $40...I can't believe I spent so much". I dont even wanna tell him how much I usually spend...

Although I will have to say an old friend of mine asked for a "tour of the strip clubs" b/c he's only been to one his whole life. He met one of my ATFs and she was real sweet to him...she definately scored some points in my book. She sat in between us and chatted with us the whole time, while giving us LDs. Then, I took him to see my other ATF and she totally ignored him. She just said "hi" and thats it...and she sat next me, away from him. After that she's no longer my ATF.

Actually Chuck, the guys aren't bad compared to the dancers. I mean we don't doctor each others drinks, pee on each others clothes or fight over the dancers.

Probably the worst I have done before a board party at the club in August was post that I was going to buy up all my ATF's dances so none of her other regulars would get a chance. I was nice about it in the end. I visited on Sun. to make arrangements to have her whole shift on Wed. so she could make even more at the party and satisfy the other regulars. Unbeknownst to me, she went on chat Tues. and told everyone if they were planning on getting dances Wed. forget it. She was taken. I was immediately the prime suspect. Four of the guys came in Wed. waltzed into the VIP to see if I was there. All 4 gave me the thumbs up, started laughing and walked out. Geez! You would think they never saw anyone get lapped before. They were waiting outside when the club closed. LOL.

    I hate when the boys act up like that .... {snide remarks}
Another annoyance is when you go with a guy who likes to talk when she's dancin' for ya' on stage and there's good eye contact.
Fuckin' clown is yappin' away and decribing every moment she makes like Monday night football.

    Here's another one ...
You have more money then they do ...
And they cop an additude at everything & everyone 'cause they wanna leave.

It's just so much better to go alone.

I prefer when guys come in alone. It's easier to talk to them and make it a special experience. I prefer to be one on one with a guy.

Alone is best. A loner looking for some girl time. By himself.

The only time it works with other guys around is when they are looking for the same thing. And will break off independently. Or even in the same champagne lounge independently with the other girl.

I don't like it when a guy is knocking girls down for something like fake tits. Who cares? Is she exciting? Eye contact? Maybe beauty? Presentation? Sexuality? Personality? Dance?

Honing in on one thing is dumb.

I do both, go with buddies or alone. I have buddies that can't believe I go alone because of safety reasons, especially when out of town and I don't know the joint. They would never go alone. Maybe it makes them feel desperate or something and they hide behind the safety issue. I don't know. There are some rough clubs but lets face it, we are all welcome at the SC, with open arms mostly! I find SC's to be some of the safest most comfortable places around (for a bar I mean). There's one place in DC where I walked in and was the only one of my particular color there and everyone gave me the once over, which made me a little nervous. But after that little moment the girls seemed mightly glad to see me and I had a fine time that evening.

I'm not the one being asked, but from my viewpoint, if a buddy or a client says, "Let's go to a strip club," I'm probably going to say yes. Seems like the buddy thing to do. But I prefer to go by myself.[/quote]

Well that's the drawback to appearing sociable. It means you have to be there when your buddy Bob is sticking chopsticks up his nose or other embarrasing antics. If something happened to me like that I'd probably crawl up into a corner and sneak out the back.
If your friends are that embarrasing simply decline their offer with an excuse or show up incognito.

I have a customer or two that I take to the club on occasion but really I prefer to go by myself. I cant stand it when these guys dont tip the ladies properly so I wind up spending my own money trying to make them not look like non-players. Not too swift on my part, huh.

Going solo is much better. I spend MY money on MY entertainment LOL. I always wind up with two or three dancers sitting with me anyways so Im not alone for long I like to think its my stellar personality, good looks and incredible conversational abilities but in reality I think its my bar tab LOL
Once again I have embraced my addiction and have put off the moral dilemma to another day.

There was a similar thread before. It wasn't a poll... all respondents replied: Hell Yeah!! Or something to that effect. LOL.

From Chuck: Right you are Fish... I spliced the previous thread onto this one.

yeah I mostly go alone because its easier. I hate when you gotta leave cus your group has run out of money or has to be somewhere else. I learned as a group you have to be more aggressive and cant wait for the dancers to come up to you.

Heres what I do when going as a group(good if you dont know the place):

First get get seats a little off the stage to get aquainted with the place and see whose there.

Then if you see someone you like go up to the rail and seperate yourself from the group. saying "whoa see ya guys in a bit I gotta check her out" works pretty good. If you like what you see then go ahead and tell her you'd like her to find you when shes not busy.

If she finds you make sure your alone, do whatever get a drink, go the bathroom and take your time getting back ,whatever. That way you or your friends dont act like idiots around her. This is when its gets kinda iffy, she knows your interested so its got to play it cool for she might be mecernary. Chat a little and whatever to see if you guys click. If all goes get the damn dance already. So many distractions when your with others so get your stuff in early, instead of waiting around for the right moment then POW your bro passed out and you gotta get him home fast.

As you can see its alot more work then just sitting on your ass then and spending money. For some guys just too much of hassle to go as group. Sometimes I go with a group so I have a DD and I can drink.
I find in these situations its better to just go go go cus if you dont your just gonna be hanging around a bunch of dudes all night.

As a customer - I go alone HOWEVER due to my gender it isn't looked kindly upon going alone. Not due to security issues but because bouncers/management assume I'm a pro looking to score inside the club or something so I have to always bring a friend (male most of the time) UNLESS the club knows me.

As a dancer - the only shift of the week that I am not intimidated by a group of guys is Saturday. More often than not on a Saturday it is a Bucks party and I know if I get in early and sell myself early on... I will get the stage show (the buck is sat on the turn table on stage topless I then proceed to do my "show" on him involving shaving cream and water... great stuff to watch and fun to do!) and/or they will think of me when it comes time for a lap dance for the Buck.

Any other shift.. I like to have another dancer with me if the group is larger than 3 people.
