If you have been going to clubs for awhile and maybe seeing the same girl alot, the questions about comparing this to a real relationship come up.

Everybody's situation is different. Some guys are single not finding what they want. Some guys are married and just need the excitement. Some guys just have issues with women. But when you go to these places consistently the question arises, "Is more or less expensive than having a girlfriend?"

Well, for most guys, it is cheaper to go to a stripclub! It is easier on the wallet and easier on the emotional front as well! Cuz you dont have to deal with the normal bs that comes from a gf! Now you do have the high roller type, that likes to show off at a stripclub and blows way too much money there. They spend more in a stripclub than they do on a gf.

Well I can tell you, seeing a stripper is much cheaper than being married. :o
Now if your married and also have a long term releationship with GF on the side, then all bets are off LMAO
As far as having a GF you are just banging on the side, there are much better qualfied members of this forum that can fill us in with those details

It would all depend on the following:

a.) how involved you are getting at the club
b.) what level of maintenance your girlfriend is

At one trip per month and an average of $125/trip, its significantly cheaper than a girlfriend would be, and I can go when I want to. If you marry the girlfriend, it becomes that much more of a bargain.

Sometimes I wonder if we men fantasize about dating strippers just so we can have the best of both worlds, although I'm sure most guys in the select fraternity who are doing this are paying royally for the priveledge.

My wife doesn't work outside the house, and everything, house, bank accounts, etc. are in both names - so I guess you can say that my wife gets 50% of my salary after taxes, therefore much more expensive than a GF or dancer.

The other question is how you spend your time at a club. I used to go to clubs occasionally, spend a few hours tipping the stage dancers, maybe the occasional LD. It was an enjoyable night and not expensive ~$100+. I have recently started to go more regularly, to see a particular girl - my ATF. Now, I have anywhere from 7 - 15 dances a visit. My last few visits I dropped more than $300 each. Still a lot cheaper than half my salary, but it's getting to be too expensive to go weekly. And now I'm hooked on my ATF. I have trouble staying away and I can't go and just tip her stage dance. I know I'm addicted. :-/

Plus you can't compare the other benefits you get with a wife. I'm sure that if you tried to get someone to do everything a wife does, most wives are really bargains.

    Amber,
You've been watching way to many Beaver reruns.
Next time you're at work, why don't you ask some of the married guys about their spouses. Come back here and tell us about the joy you see welling up from them.
When identifiable and accountable, married people lie. Otherwise they'd be admitting their mistakes to the world.

Well, I'm glad I kept you all busy while I was at work...lol

The reason I brought it up is because after nine months of my longest dancer/stiff relationship, where I was seeing her every 2 weeks without fail (e-mail if you can't make it), she turned to me and smiled and said "You know a girl-friend would be cheaper!". I blew it off and said "No way!".

But I guess it did register that I was using her that way. How far I had slipped. But she was the most reliable and consistent and consistently good thing I had at that time.

Since then, we have logged literally a thousand or so dances. Plus a lot of other stuff. You do the math. For now, this has stopped. But I think it was one of the more consistent dancer/customer relationships around.

P.S. it is no joke about the anniversary thing cited in the "you know your a Junkie...when" thread. I called it the M.E. school of dance and shes the only graduate. M.E. - my initials.

Let me clarify what I said earlier.
At one trip per month and an average of $125/trip, its significantly cheaper than a girlfriend would be, and I can go when I want to. If you marry the girlfriend, it becomes that much more of a bargain.
By "it" I was refering to the strip club expenses, NOT the wife. Sorry for any confusion.

What can I say? The ex was getting more than 50% of everything when married. Now she still gets 25%. The ATF was getting about 35%. Now she is SOL! Dating could be accomplished on 1/3 of my SC budget. Dating would be cheaper. But would I want them?

To put this in perspective, I've logged over 700 dances with the now ex-ATF in less than 10 months.

Hell, I thought my ATF WAS my girlfriend...duh... thats how deep I was in. I'd drive 2 hrs to see her from time to time outside the club. We actually did some "normal" stuff. Movies...eating out etc. A couple times we even went grocery shopping LOL. (Try taking a 5 ft tall gorgeous stripper with 34D tits to your local Miejer LOL talk abouts the looks you get, especially when youre 20 yrs older than her LOL. I try not to recall all the money I went thru with her but I do fondly remember the "other" stuff. Time does fade your recollections tho...things are starting to get a lil surreal. Kinda like the time I had one too many doobies back in 1969 LOL Beam me up Scottie.

Fishnet. What you said, just reinforces my idea that there's always a higher roller. P.S. if you think you are a girl's best customer/supporter /(or insert here whatever else you think you are to her): "Think again". Which is why, when you think about trying to woo a dancer with money, you may be surprised how many she has doing this. And why I always tried to stay out of the "Who's wallet is bigger" syndrome. And anyway after your done with her, there's always another.

Last nite, I was at my favorite club, and there is this waitress, I'd give my left cahoney to have dance for me. She has absolutely the most incredible long, long, long thick hair I have ever seen, a great face and a banging everything else. I often tease her about getting a dance with her, though I know she won't. Or why she didn't do an Amateur Nite.

A dancer who's been there a long time, that she $2000 for one dance once.

Bullshit! Right! But you never know. Maybe another guy has inordinate amounts of money. Maybe a deep obsession.

Sad, you're talking about two different things. It's like saying "Would I rather own a toaster or a radio?" I see dancers to be entertained. I have a gf because I am seeking a deeper relationship that I hopefully can love and trust.
If you are talking economics then I can't help you there. Whether you can afford stimulation in place of intimacy I couldn't tell you that. You have to decide that on your own.

No. you're absolutely right. But that was actually my point, when I said "But I guess it did register that I was using her that way." Sometimes you get so caught up in it, the line is blurred. You may end up using it in place of a relationship or as an excuse for not having one, because you're not sure if you want one. And the reasons, go on and on.

If you don't want one, sometimes your radio seem very warm, even though it can't toast bread.

Although, I also tried having the radio as an actual toaster, and I was mistaken, I guess it was just a radio... ??? My mistake.

It depends. If the girlfriend doesn't have high $$ demands it is just about the same. Difference is, a stripper may end up being a financial burden in the short run if you go around splurging on dances, etc.

    Hmmmm ...
I always assumed it was cheaper to have a girlfriend or wife.
Let's do the math w/ the factor that it's a live in girlfriend or wife AND no kids!

    I work 9am to 7pm 5 days a week.
Meals are cooked 6 to 7 nights w/ an occasional Saturday or Friday night for outing every 2 weeks. This describes a somewhat norm relationship after the honeymoon phase. And you're down to a norm routine of living.
$250 month is spent on monthly groceries.
$110 average for 2 at a Japenese steak house and a movie.
    So that's $250+$220 which = $470 a month for sex & companionship.
Actually you should divide that in have since it's for 2. Otherwise your eating alone ... and saying hello to your left or right hand @ night.

So if you spend more than $240/ month on stripclubs .... then MY humble opinion has 2 B ... Yeah, your addiction is costing you.

Personally, I spend $300/ night @ the club ONCE every 2 months.
Despite the possesion of a wife ....

Friggin' hot chicks .... just can't leave them cold .... dammm! ;(

Damn Dude!! You must be living 20 years ago. Or maybe just Arkansas. LOL. In the Bay Area, (CA) It's at least $300 a month, food for 1 person. And you are forgetting rent/ mortgage, Ins., health care, 2nd car for transportation, clothes and entertainment. Women aren't men and a big screen TV with remote does not keep them entertained. A wife/gf will cost 1-2 large a month unless she is Shamu. LOL. An ex-wife will cost you the same or more. :o

At least on a pay to play basis, you only see her good side. LMAO! (hopefully)

Doing one or the other is reasonably affordable ( substitute wife for g/f in topic) but trying to do both taxes the wallet. I find myself slipping into a 1-2 times a week mode :o at a couple hundred or so a visit its getting expensive LOL Maybe I should consider retiring LOL
