    Default Hand Washing

feel free to not comment, just vote. i dont want people to feel like they have to comment and so they lie. its not to prove anything, im just curious how many of the Internet crowd washes...since i know from experience that the gen public rarely does. the fact that i see guys not wash and then get dances is the only reason im ever hesitant about "extras"

I always wash my hands after handling Mr. Johnson. As a matter of fact, there were a couple of times after an LD where I washed them before and after because I didn't want Mr. Johnson to catch anything LMAO
It even cost me $2 because of the dammed wash room jerk

I think the biggest deterent to guys washing their hands at a strip club is that damned wash room attendant, I hate tipping those guy for a fucking paper towel.

Ladies if you have concerns about cleanliness of your customers do yourself a favor and get the club to get rid of those damn wash room flunkies.

Personally, I'm a bit anal about washing my hands, especially after using a public restroom.

I have extremely dry skin and I live in a dry region of the country, so I usually never wash my hands until i get home. But the restroom doors at the clubs in my area are always kept opened, and they all have auto-flashing urinals, so I can go in, do my thing, and never have to touch anything but my zipper.

I always wash my hands between dancers and after VIP/champagne with a dancer. Dancers notice that... I tell my ATF which regulars don't wash their hands and she spreads the word to other dancers.

This is a good topic. I happen to like the wash room attendants. It's nice to be able to get gum, mints etc. after a late night cup of coffee before getting more dances. Dang, you tip everyone else there. Why not the guy who has to stay in there all night? Our attendant actually gets on peoples case when they don't wash. Not because he wants 'em to tip, he just thinks it's gross that at least 50% of the people don't. I never would have noticed except for the number of times I've heard him call out: "Hey dude! Wash your hands. That's gross!" LOL.

I always wash my hands after using the restroom. I try to advoid going to the restroom if the club has a attendent. I really hate them and I will drink less if a club has one so I reduce my chances of having to go.

Only thing is that sometimes the SC doesn't have soap, or they have a toilet troll who you just want to run away from....

I have been in the bar/restaurant business for 12 years, so I am entirely and wholly indoctrinated into washing my hands every time Nature Calls - even at home. When I go to a SC, if there is no soap, I will still rinse, because that’s better than nothing. Most patrons, I have noticed, zip in, do what the have to do, and zip out.

Oddly enough, I have never been to a club where there has been an attendant, though. While that would annoy me, it still wouldn't deter me.

Yeah, actually you're right PJ, I must admit that I have washed my hands even w/the toilet troll there, even though I had to wait for him to squeeze soap directly into my hands...

I still didn't give him a tip, though. Sorry to sound like a cheap bastard, but I just don't want to encourage him/the club into thinking that it's a good idea. I can wash my own hands, for crying out loud!!!

The biggest deterent to me washing my hands at one the clubs I go to is the bathroom itself. Its an out of town club on a septic tank and it seems the night I go is right before the day its cleaned out, so it gets kinda ripe in there.
    [puke]
The club also seems to have a few inebrated customers who like to use the sink as an alternate urinal because the real urinal is plugged with TP and cigarette butts. I'd GLEEFULLY pay someone a buck to clean that shit up.

I figure I'd probably pick up more germs than I'd lose in there, so I either hit a restauraunt or store on the way in, or go without.

i think it's officially called "hand sanitizer". these days it seems that nearly every soap manufacturer is also making hand sanitizer as well, so you can find it in the soap aisle at the supermarket, no problem. generally, they come in containers of a size that a person wouldn't carry around with them, but you could buy some small "travel sized" container and use that for pocket carrying. basically, it's alcohol based so it kills germs and dries fast. unfortunately, because it's alcohol based, it's also drying for your skin (and if you have any cuts or a torn cuticle, it stings like a bear... but it also kills nasty germs that could infect a cut). Bath and Body Works makes lightly scented hand sanitizers that come in small containers for carry around use, but it also has some kind of lotions or something in it to combat the skin dry out thing. i always have a bottle of their sanitizer in my dance purse. lately i've been stuck on the peach scented one.

of course there's still the old Wash 'n Dry towletts that come in single use packets... something like that might be a lot more convenient for guys to carry around. each packet is about the same size as a condom packet, so it would be simple to stuff a few in your wallet. the only problem with them is that they have that distinctive smell... reminds me of road trips with the parents. they don't last well either... sometimes you open a packet and get a dry dud.

I always wash my hands. And carry around that hand sanitizer. I like the Country Apple from bath&body. I'm kind of a germophobe. One of the main reasons is because of the money itself. Ever had one of those dollar bills with the stamp that says something like "see where I've been....go to www. somethingorother"? I don't have one right now or I'd put the address on here, but I think most of you probably know what I'm talking about. And if you've ever checked it out, then you know how far a dollar bill can travel and how many people it goes through before it gets to you. And I just wonder what these people had in their hands or what they were doing before they touched the dollar.....and working at a stripclub that paranoia is even worse because I see firsthand what some people do with their money......yep I clean my hands all the time. And take at least two showers a day on the days when I work.

My advice - never take a microbiology course.

    Trust me.

I loved the day we were watching a fim about dust mites. They were talking about how there are tiny bugs that live everywhere........in your bed, in the carpet, on your counters, and on your body. They talked about how the mites eat the dead skin off of your body, and i looked around the room when they were saying that and I noticed that just about everyone in the class started to scratch themselves or start shifting around in their chair or just get really figety......it was really funny.

Now I'm thinking about bio stuff.

The great biology grad student urban legend: Bio 101 lab class - "take a swab of your inner cheek and look at it under the microscope. Does everyone see the epithelial cells?" The pretty blonde in the back says "these aren't like the ones in the workbook."
Grad student teaching assistant looks in her microscope, refocuses it, and says "these aren't epithelial cells, these are sperm." Girl runs out of room in horror.

Grad students eat this stuff up.

the bathroom attendant isnt just there to get your money. he cleans the bathroom and makes sure all supplies are in there for YOU. he is also a deterrant to any drug use that might go on. i cant believe someone would actually drink less to avoid this poor guy working for a living. i dont think they expect everyone to tip and certinaly not everytime you use the restroom. i have worked in clubs that didnt have an attendent and they were nasty dirty and stinky. i worked in one upscale club where you could smell the pee when you just passed by the door. like another poster said you tip everyone else.... i like having him there!
