    Default ATF etiquette

Ok guys, I was just wondering what you "expect" your ATF to do when you come in your club? Now I know we can't really expect anything when it comes to dancers, but I think there should be some "proper etiquette" when it comes to an ATF. For example, an ATF should at least come over and say "hi" when she sees you, granted she's not busy with other customers. She should also tell you bye before you leave.

I bring this up b/c recently I came in before my ATF did and when she came in, she went on stage and I was the only guy who tipped her (generously). Yet, the first guy who she dances with wasn't me and it sent off a bad vibe with me. I ended up waiting a long time for her to finally come over. I guess I've been having a bad month or something but my two ATFs have been giving off bad vibes lately....i'm about ready to look for a new one or just give up on the strip club scene. Can any of you relate to this? did you give your ATF a second chance?

No buts. It's for your own good.

I've had favorites before who made me wait while they talked to every single guy in the club. In the beginning, they tend to be more attentive, but once they know they own you as a customer, some will take you for granted. Soon after, they lost my business.

My ATF walks over with a shy smile like I might not want her anymore. At the last second she opens up with an explosive hug. It's fun to watch.... I have never had to wait more than a minute for her and it's been almost two years. She's an unassuming princess, one of the nicest people I know anywhere.

My ATF used to ask me to walk by and make myself visible to let her know that I was in the club. I would then grab a seat and she would come over in about 10 minutes to let me know how long she was going to be with another customer. That was really nice on her part. However, now we'll email each other or talk on the phone to let her know exactly when I'll be there. That way she can let her other customers know up to what time she can dance for them. So when I get there, I'll walk by to get her attention and she'll stop dancing for her other customer and come right over to me. This works out great for me, but it has caused some interesting reactions from her other customers especially from those who have in the past dropped up to $400-$500 on her in one night. Some have been cool and understanding that I'm her ATFR (to coin a phrase - all time favorite regular), but others have become jealous, ask her questions about me all the time and wonder why they don't get the same treatment.

Good point, Lapster. Guys who know how to use e-mail, IM, cell phones and TM have a BIG advantage. It's like she never has to feel alone.... I once asked a dancer which she would give up first: e-mail, lunch or club time. She said club time with no hesitation becauise "you're always there for me in e-mail" and lunch is the real world. For those three I was paying $0, $12 and $200+, so it wasn't about money.

Lapster and SW2 are right. Setting up your playdate in advance is the only way to go! I always let my ATF know in advance when I'm coming in. And I never have to wait. She's mine from the time she hits the floor till it's time to say goodnight. I've seen other guys ask her for dances while she is on stage. In one instance, she jokingly told the guy he would have to make an appointment with her booking manager. LOL.

I don't like to be kept waiting. My first ATF thought she could work the floor while I cooled my heals. That didn't go over well with me. She was benched for a period of time and didn't learn from it. If the ATF isn't treating you the way you want, I say time to find a new ATF.

    X:

You should try talking to your ATF's. There is the possibility they don't realize it matters to you. One person I know got his ATF to do a complete reversal in the way she treated him. It's possible!

My current ATF is quite flexible in accomodating my requests. I'll talk to her about anything that might need changing. The advice in the last paragraph above is applicable if you already know she is not flexible and just views you as an ATM. Going to the club is supposed to be fun! Sounds like you aren't having fun anymore.

If she keeps you waiting while she "works the room," you are being taken for granted. Accept it or move on. The choice is yours, not hers.

out of curiousity and to clear up any confusion... when you guys talk about your respective ATF's are these girls that you know they consider you as one of her regulars? i'm thinking that there may be issues here that not all of these girls do consider you to be one of their regulars, or maybe not one of their top regulars.

Interesting question, Alanna. In my case we're each other's favorites, a 1-1 match, and she doesn't lose money spending time with me. I wouldn't expect that in a 7-1 match, where I was #7 on a dancer's list. In a 1-4 match, the dancer might say to the regular, "Will you have time for me today?"

topics like this are why I don't have an ATF, I don't need this kind of hassle at a strip club, I go there to have a good time. While I certainly have my favorites at the clubs I visit, if they don't want my money I can certainly find someone else who does, their loss not mine.

Well, half the time I'm there before she shows up. And she knows exactly where I'll be. And always greets me with a hug and chills with me most of the night. If she feels that she needs to do something I don't hold her back and let her do it. Shoot, she's got a job to do and I can't hold her back if she really needs to work that night. Wednesdays used to be my full afternoon with her. I would come and save her from boredom. Now that she has this new job. It's harder to see her till Friday if she desides to work.

Yes Alanna. I was definitely one of her top regulars. A weekly habit at the time. If both girls were there she made at least 3. Her by herself would make between 6 and 8. She would have gone over 1 large the night she decided she needed to work the floor instead of dance for me. She was just greedy, thought I was RIL and would put up with it. The second time she danced for me, she told me: "I'm just a bitch." And she certainly tried to live up to her own self description.

To me atf means she's MY all time favorite...I can only have one at a time, until she quits everyone else is a fav, not the ATF. I doubt I'm my ATF's best customer on a dollars spent basis but that's not what it's about.

It seems to me that for a customer/dancer "relationship" to be more than a series of business transactions, there has to be some loyalty that extends BOTH ways.

Some customers want to be treated "special," and don't want it to be "all about the money" for the dancers. Yet some of these same customers will take the attitude: "As soon as you falter in making me feel like #1, Bitch, you're history!" If a customer has that attitude, why should the dancer care about anything but his money?

If some of you have favorites that blow off other customers in your favor, fine. But I actively discourage my favorites from doing any such thing. I don't want a favorite to feel she figuratively has a gun pointed at her head to cater specially to me. At a certain point in the "relationship," I want her to feel confident in my "business," however a given night goes. Then she can cater to me as she CHOOSES. No pressure.

If things badly deteriorate over time, I suppose I might give up on a fave. But I've never had any such dilemma with a BIG TIME favorite.

By the way, I'm with Yoda on the "ATF" definition. It should mean ALL-TIME FAVORITE, and there should only be ONE.

LapOf Luxury is dead on here. If she's really your ATF it should be a two way street. My last ATF used to do the club's showcase 2 fo1 with me everytime I came in-it usually turned into 5 or 6 dances. I didn't have to ask and she would turn other guys down if she knew I was in the club. One time a regular of hers who I knew always did champagne rooms with her showed up right before the 2 for 1. I told her to take the guy to VIP and not to worry about the 2 for1 with me. Of course we made up for lost time later - she was $300 richer on a slow day and I can still feel the warmth from the hug I got that afternoon.

I disagree; it is possible to have more than one ATF as long as their all in different states.

With me it's one ATF per club, but in three clubs the overall rankings might be #1, 2 and 4.

I guess we need a new term for a Number One All Time Favorite. NOATF will do I guess.

But here's the $60,000 question, what does it take to earn NOATF status ?

Chuck, for me the NOATF is usually the "everything girl" who's beautiful, personally endearing, and a great dancer.

Chuck, I disagree. They can't all be ATF's. One is an ATF. The other two are just favs. I'm sure if you had to rate them, there would be a 1-2-3 order.
