Default Everything I needed to know about strip clubs I learned on SCJ...

Ha. No, seriously, made my first trip to a club tonight (trip report will be up soon, natch...). As I was getting ready to leave the house and drive over, I kept doing something or other and thinking that the only reason I was doing it was that I read about it here. More of the same in the club itself, and then Mandi/Amber said something similar about when she started dancing (yes, I was smart enough to choose K2U and SCJ's very own Amber in particular). So, in no particular order, the things I learned here:

Leave the baseball cap at home - it just gets in the way.

Don't wear a belt (NEVER would have thought of this, but it does make sense, and I don't want to put a dancer in the position of having to ask me to remove it - talk about a situation fraught with potential for misunderstanding).

Wear soft pants, not jeans - be nice to your dancer's skin, please.

Shave closely - for the same reason as above - for those with serious five o'clock shadow like me, that means shaving against the grain. Yeah, it hurts, but smooth skin rubbed against smooth skin is SUCH a nice feeling, and smooth skin rubbed against razor stubble would be, well, not nearly as nice and short-lived at best.

Be a gentleman during the private dances, and you'll get a better dance for your restraint. This was a little trickier than I thought it would be, so I'm a *tiny* bit proud of myself for not turning into a grabby jerk, especially when Amber did that trick where she's ALMOST kissing you. *shiver* Don't get me wrong - my hands wandered, but within the borders of the expected in that club. And what would be acceptable in that club is another thing I learned here.

If you're interested in a private dance from someone, tip a little more than normal at the stage to let her know you're impressed. I'm not sure I would have known that I needed to make the connection during the stage dance. For some reason, I had the impression the dancers would 'hustle' everyone for private dances. At K2U at least, this is definitely not the case. This tip saved me from a boring evening, I'm sure, 'cause the gods all know Amber's got WAY too much business to need to hustle.

I think that's about it. This is just by way of an extended thank you to the regulars here. Even those of us who don't post are getting a lot out of this site.

Funny, God isn't an intolerant bigot. Wonder why so many of His followers are...

    Wow. I'm jealous. A first-timer?!?

It seems like a looooong time ago, but it's really not been that long. And I still don't follow some accepted rules - I always wear jeans. I guess that makes me a sadistic bastard. Could be a New Year's Resolution.

But I'm in total agreement about letting the dancer control the dance. I'm as perfect a gentlemen as I can be (with a lovely lady sitting on my lap) and it just gets better and better.

But to go again for the first time. I remember having to scoop my eyes off the floor back then.

And a last word (for this message anyway), if you have found a low hustle club, take advantage of it. Spend your money on those deserving on it, but go and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Those clubs are few and far between. I only have peace because I've gone long enough that I'm marked as specific territory for a special somebody. And that's perfectly fine with me.

    Later,
    afx

hey Captian, I'm glad you learned something here LOL and choosing Amber/Mandi to break you in was a smart choice. I hope she was gentle on you.

I am heartened that you learned a lot on your first time, and that you see the value of being a decent human when going to a SC.

My first time I was a 20 year old drunken idiot with a bunch of drunken idiot friends. I'm sure I was a nightmare to all the dancers way back when.

Learn well, Young Jedi. It will only bring goodness to the SC World.

I wish I would have had something like this when I started dancing......

I have been at it 6 years, and I still learn things here all the time.....
If all were as informed as you when they start out they would enjoy themselves so much more......
Best of luck with all your adventures.....
