    Counterfeit dollars?

Wondering how often you guys see dollars that glow white under the black lights? I know that about every 3rd or 4th time I’m at the club I get a bill or two that glow white under the black lights.

I was just watching a documentary on counterfeiting and one of the things they showed was counterfeit bills glowing under black light because of the chemicals used in there production it seems real money don’t glow. Which of course we all already know from spending so much time with our wallets open under the black lights LoL.

Now I remember thinking “wow are these fake” the first time I saw them, and maybe they are, after all I think most guys back in high school must have tried photo copying a dollar at least once. I remember getting kicked out of the school library when I was a kid for trying just that! LoL.

Anyway, do you guys see this a lot or am I just in a wacky area? I think next time I get one I’ll take it to the bank to get it checked out just to find out. I guess it could just be a bill or two every now and then that got mixed in the someone’s wash or something but I’m really curious to know if they are fakes or not.

I haven't seen it in my area. Why dollars? If they are going to do the deed, I'd think they would go with Benjamins.

Yeah you would think so, that’s why I think if they were fake it would have to be the work of kids. Kids are a lot more likely to do dollars; I remember how we used to always look for ways to scam soda machines when we were kids so. Kids, dollars, it makes the most sense.

I have noticed this quite a bit at the SC under the black lights, and have wondered what's up. I asked the bartender to give me some "non-glowing" bills instead. She said that there was no problem with them, that they glow if they've been through the "wash". Let's just say that the glowing bills were the first ones used as tips at the club.

That explanation makes sense. Soaps and bleaching agents have that effect. If you use some brands of toothpaste with whitening agents, it causes your teeth to glow too. LOL.

LOL yep I've seen a few girls now with teeth that glow, I remember thinking it was kind of freaky looking the first time I saw it. Now it just makes me laugh.

Might as well list everything that glows under black light, like lint and detergent residue on polyester pants.... I used to go to a club with a separate black light nude stage. Some of the dancers would write and draw on themselves with flourescent hiliters. You couldn't see it anywhere else in the club, but they looked HOT on stage with glowing pink parts.
