Well...fans of another 12-2 team might have something to say about that. :fucker:Originally Posted by Chuck link=board=1;threadid=1078;start=msg15972#msg15972 date=1071526794
Hey, don't look at me. I'm a Niners fan. 6-8 ugh. I miss the glory days.

Former SCJ now in rehab.

Who have the Chiefs beat? Detroit? Oh, wait, I know, the scary Denver Broncos by a point earlier in the season then they got turned around and crushed by Clinton Portis. Their schedule has been a joke.Originally Posted by doc-catfish link=board=1;threadid=1078;start=msg15981#msg15981 date=1071532719
The Patriots have beaten Philly (31-10) in Philly, Miami twice, Tennessee at home, the scary Denver Broncos in Denver, shutout a stingy Dallas team, and beat Indy in Indy on a 4th and inches goaline stance! Damn! Can't the Pats get no love? Can't they finally be declared the best team in the AFC?

I was actually watching curling on TV the other day (just kind of zoned out), until the wife walked into the room and said something like,' What the hell are you watching?!"Originally Posted by Chuck link=board=1;threadid=1078;start=msg15980#msg15980 date=1071532692
Women just don't GET sports....

The Philly team they beat bears no resemblence to the team right now. Dont use that as a litmus test for them.Originally Posted by BlackEyes link=board=1;threadid=1078;start=msg15990#msg15990 date=1071542491
Chris Berman predicted an Eagles-Patriots Super Bowl at the beginning of the season. Boomer is usually horrible in such predictions. Its looks as if him actually being right is a distinct possibility.
We follow the Buc's in our household. Thankgod they won the last game ! The main problem it seems to me for the Buc's this year is injury problems. There have been alot of 2nd and I think even 3rd string guys playing most of the season.

Doesnt help that Keyshawn Johnson is a horrendous jerkweed.Originally Posted by Rayanna link=board=1;threadid=1078;start=msg16003#msg16003 date=1071555626

The big diffenence between th Pats and the Bucs (besides winning more games LOL) is that the 2nd and 3rd string guys are stepping up and getting the job done.Originally Posted by Rayanna link=board=1;threadid=1078;start=msg16003#msg16003 date=1071555626
Hell there aren't any 2nd and 3rd string guys on the Pats, they're all #1 :yay:

The pats the best team in the AFC... :idiot:
Watch out for the ravens they are sneeking up on everyone like in 2000. As long as we beat the browns this week and the steelers next week and Cincinnati gets beat by the rams (it will happen) and the browns pull an upset next week the ravens will win their division. And the AFC will soon follow and then the super bowl.

Fan of the "scary" Broncos here. And the Avalanche and the basketball team ... the ... uh... what's their name... oh, yeah, Nuggets.
The Broncos are playing about how I'd figure. The Nugs are overachieving and can't keep going all season, although their resurrection has been wonderful. The Avs are somewhat underachieving, given all the talent (although injuries are a problem), and I hope for great things when they're all healthy and got their heads screwed on a little tighter.
I've lived to see the glory days of the Broncos, when anything was possible, the Super Bowl was ours for two years, and those were good times. Now they're a team to cheer for or groan at, just like any other. I like 'em because I live here.
And oh, yeah... Thank you, Eagles for the Monday game against Miami!!

Chuck we'll see just what thatis made of.

So far so good Baltimore won and Cincinnati lost, one week to go. What happened to KC? New England only scored 21 vs the Jets? If I remember right the Jets were moving down the field looking good untill a turn over at the end of the game. New England almost blew it.

Watch out for my Vikings, they are just starting to peak.
well my Buc's lost our shot this year![]()
but hey it was a great 4th quarter! Buc's often do the last min sneak attack it seems to me... like they're trying to wear the other team down or even make them feel over confident so they slip up?
I am glad that Sapp probably wont be with us this next year and the injuries need to be examined.... why so many this season?? How do they make the guys more resistant to being injuried in the first palce might be a good place to start.

Go Dallas, woohoo!

Are you dogging New England's offense? They can't put up numbers? And, you're a Baltimore fan? Man, talk about calling the kettle black. Other than J. Lewis, what does your team do on offense? Like the Pats, they rely on defense coming up big.Originally Posted by big_daddy link=board=1;threadid=1078;start=msg16357#msg16357 date=1072057488
