Im sure MrP doesnt care if you block him or not but I guess I dont understand why you would do so. Did he send you nasty PM's or something? I cant believe you would block him simply for disagreeing with your opinion
hahahah...you know me so well, FBR. i could care less. the "ignore" function isn't something new. it's pretty old. anyone who has used a newsreader has is probably familiar with using a filter better known as a "killfile". IMHO, it was never a useful funtion. for example, i can still post. i can read other messages. i can still read her messages. i can still respond to her messages. she doesn't have to read them, but others will and if you put enough people in your killfile things the newsgroup starts to look pretty empty. all the "ignore" funtion does is put a couple of virtual fingers in one ears to protect them from things they don't want to hear. well, i hope those fingers are lubed. perhaps, it's societal mores of today. it's all about expecting validation and ego boosts from others. that's fine for the Oprah Winfrey show but, why anyone would go around giving out an automatic "atta boy" on their own lesiure time is beyond me.

she's a lady? you know, judging from her response. i would have thought that she was a waitress in a bowling alley or a sailor on liberty. geez jim, you might want to see a doctor about those saddle sores. you've been riding that white horse a little too long.
I guess insulting people makes you feel better about your own glaring faults.

It's no wonder so many of the ladies choose to place you on their ignore list. Even reading your comments is a waste of one's time, much less responding.

In fact I think I'll stop wasting my time on you right now because you simply aren't worth acknowledging.

on the other hand, most true junkies (and the customers I prefer) are the ones like you gents here, who go to whatever club the prefer bc they are known and treated well and not taken (too much) advantage of and can have a laid-back good time with women that you actually like (hopefully physically and personality-wise). Your type of customer may not frequent the upscale clubs very often, or even see the reason to do so, bc you are not taken in by the fantasy. You go to a sc for what you do receive, not so you can concoct a nice little ego-boosting fantasy that you're someone you're not.

Well stated kali I have plenty of money and could afford "upscale" if I wanted to..well maybe not the $28,000 visits but you know what I mean I just dont see the point. I get what I want at my mid-scale club and dont walk out knowing Im going to be bankrupt when I get my credit card statement.

Isis, I noticed that you started a parallel thread to this one on the pink site...in the Ladies Only section no less. Why did you do that and why in the Ladies Only instead of the open forums?
I wanted to get some female opinions w/o having them get bashed for whatever they said. Isn't that what Ladies Only is for ?
Obviously, its none of my beeswax (unless Im being called a rapist ) but I often wonder what is the point of the Ladies Only section.

Certainly, if the purpose is to provide a place for women to talk about their "private" stuff free from male intrusion, it fails miserably. Anyone can read it and post threads talking about what was said. Pryce wont let us cut and past posts from there (his prerogative as the site owner) but otherwise Ladies Only is fair game.

Personally, Id like to see him eliminate the Ladies Only section and in its place, offer a "for pay" section which was truly private and not available to the general public. It would serve two purposes. First, it would offer a gods honest haven for those ladies who absolutely need a place to post where their intimate views and comments would be impenetrable to male eyes. Second, it would force dancers who know that right now they can talk whatever trash they want with impunity in the Ladies Only area, to put their money where their collective mouths are. If I was being insulted over there and unable to respond, Id feel better knowing it was costing the offender $9.95 per month for the privilege LOL

I wandered a bit off topic...sorry. Getting back to your question, I believe posts similar to the one you made are not seeking real, unbiased and useful responses. Instead of that, all they are likely to generate is cheerleading. Most of us gave that up after high school. Your comments are usually very good and, personally, I prefer to see them in open forums

Integrity compells me, ironic as it seems, to put in my two cents. Do not deem this as defending Punk, who is more than capable of providing his own defense, but rather another point of view from a poster who has spent more time disagreeing with Punk than either of you put together.

Punk does not throw out insults willy-nilly, just for shits and giggles. He does do so if he is seriously peeved off or feels insulted himself... much like anyone else. He spends as much time exhorting himself for his occasional raincoater gaffs and giving self-depreciating references to his failed marriages as he does pointing out people and traits that irritate him. Furthermore, your bringing a personal attack against Punk is an example of exactly that of which you accuse him. Ironic, neh? Keep the posts on topic, please, and not on a potential list of why you dislike other posters. It only invites return fire.

It's no wonder so many of the ladies choose to place you on their ignore list. Even reading your comments is a waste of one's time, much less responding.
On the contrary, most of the female SCJ posters have no one on ignore and Punk rarely visits SW. He's annoying to most of us, to be sure, but he offers a valuable insight into the minds and motives of obnoxious customers and raincoaters alike. If nothing else, thanks to Punk I can now spot a raincoater from a mile away (proverbially speaking), and have a few moderately successful methods for de-clawing the obnoxious customers. Considering the proliferation of both sorts, Punk has put me ahead several hundred dollars in saved time and/or more successful methods.

Yes, you will continue to "waste time". You know you will. You may refrain for a week or two, but you'll respond to him eventually.

LOL....only Lilith would read "The Art of War." Even I haven't read it. I've heard it quoted countless times though. Hope you don't consider all of us "the enemy"

It's "the enemy" in the same way that your Granny is the enemy when you want to best her at checkers, Fish. Customers and dancers alike play a game as soon as they walk through the doors of a strip club. The customer wants to get the most fun for his money; the dancer wants to convince this customer that she IS the most fun for his money. Earnings and dance counts are merely the means by which dancers keep score. Both customers and dancers can win, or both can lose, but it is assuredly a game and we are opponents. Customers who understand the game are why I like this job.

not really. perhaps, that's due to the fact that i'm not thin-skinned and practically flame retardant to even to severest forms of criticism. if i'm going to write an opinionated post. i'd rather err on the side of candor. sometimes, it isn't pretty, it isn't nice and it's a long way from being polite. i suppose i could try to be a more polite. i suppose, i could write nothing, but watered-down, afraid-to-offend opinions. however, why should i? in any case, you usually see people and ideas in a much different light when they are being candid.

don't get me wrong, i can be just as dissembling as next person when the situation requires me to be that way. i just think that sometimes, being excessively diplomatic with respect to another person feelings, can lead to a "Emperor with No Clothes" situation because you're reluctant to offend the other party. you're really not doing the other person a favor by not letting him or her know exactly where you stand. all you're really doing is creating a false reality for that other person just for the sake of politeness.

do you really think that i would be actually horrified by that fact, even if it were true? i have no interest in currying favor with dancers. i don't schmooze with strippers by telling her that her last 548 posts were so thoughful and insightful. i don't send PM to strippers telling her how great her pictures look [BTW, can you send me more nude pics of youself in crotchless panties. i can send you a pair by FedEX tomorrow.] in the gallery. i'm not the type of poster who tells himself, that if he brownnose hard and long enough for a dancer. one day, he'll go to her club and she'll be so grateful for his diligent ass-kissing that she might even give him a peek of her cookie or.....shit, he might even get a phone number. look, if you want to go around defending someone with a fully funtional brain. someone who, at the time, left in a huff and couldn't even be bothered to speak up for herself, fine by me. i guess, the one thing a stripper can always count on here and in the sc is another sucker walking thru the door.

one last question, before that doorknob hits you. does this mean, i'm on your ignore list? if not, i'll still post. just in case, you're still just lurking around.

And then of course there are the men who think that they'll get a BJ for $40K at the upscale club, not knowing that they could prolly get a BJ for $100 at the seedy place down the street. OR not wanting to "lower" themselves to that, anyway.
oh, you can get a BJ for 40k (and at a fraction of that price) in a upscale sc. in general, a customer is never going to get a BJ by removing all incentive for a dancer to give a BJ. in this case, the sucker in question really didn't for having the best technique when it comes to getting what want he really wanted.

what would be the the point? if i did, i would be responding to posts until the stars burn out. in any case, they are only interested in creating their own alternate universe. i think, it's a bit hubristic because one day guys like this are going to start asking themselves the question, "why am i just handing over my money to this stripper and getting nothing of value in return?".

Polecat-interesting comments about the conversation skills.... I have to say based on my experiences, I disagree. I find it to be the opposite- alot of the neighborhood club dancers I know have very little worldly experience and alot of the upscale club dancers I talk to travel quite a bit. I dunno, maybe it's a regional thing? I do agree w/ u though, that more life experience makes for a better overall entertainer
Well, at least we agree on the premise.

And it probably does have a lot to do regionally as the clubs here are truly some of the most difficult to work in. I can't overemphasize the character and strength of someone able to work under those kinds of conditions. Dancers today already have their schedules set in stone through the beginning of July with no future flexibility, unbendable nightly VIP quotas, and perversely massive nightly flat-rate stage fees ($300-$400/night). I think you can start to formulate what kind of exceptional person it takes to find comfort and success under such conditions.

So I guess really my answer would be- I have nothing really against upscale clubs/low contact dancers... provided that these dancers are able to make the grade intellectually to the degree of the local neighborhood dancers. Once the draw becomes charisma, character and personality- it only makes sense that these elements be present, from which all I can say is the bar has been raised by quite a few of the women working neighborhood clubs here. I'm by no means a mileage hound, and I'd be just as inclined to visit with these same dancers (or dancers of the same calibre) should they find their way into zero contact/air clubs since it's already simply the quality of the people that's the main draw.

I hope that makes better sense!

Best SC conversation I ever had was with a cute neighborhood bar dancer who told me all about her six months in a federal detention center. The feds wanted her to "roll over" on her drug dealing BF. She wouldn't, mainly out of fear for her life, and they let her go.
