I just posted a similar poll on the pink site asking dancers how often they get tipped for private dances.
I thought I'd also ask the customers how often they tip.
I think I can work in a better club
I can't believe I got in
its just ok
who cares, I just do it for the money
The management sucks
The customers suck
I hate this job
I love it!!!

Lap, I really can't answer that poll because there are too many variables in play. So let me just list what is going to make a tip (and a bigger tip) more likely.
The dances are cheap - Does a gal who dances for $10/song only work half as hard as as one who dances for $20/song? In my experience, usually not. So the gal working for $10 will almost certainly get a tip. I like to pay in $20 increments, so if I buy 3 dances, I'll just give her $40 and let her keep the change.
She went above and beyond the call of duty - Sometimes a gal sits down and she and I get into a really nice conversation that lasts a good 20 minutes, before she pops the sales pitch. That's not really neccesary, but I think that extra effort deserves some compensation on my part.
She talks up how good her dance is, then meets/exceeds the hype. - You gotta love a gal that delivers on what she promises.
She doesn't ask for the money up front, or for a tip at the end. - My wallet seems to open a lot wider when the terms of sale aren't so harshly dictated.
She's a favorite of mine and has always treated me right - Consistently good service over time undoubtly deserves its reward, esspecially when its a rare quality to find in a dancer, at least around here.
Former SCJ now in rehab.
Of course there are variables. That's why you sometimes tip and sometimes don't.Originally Posted by doc-catfish link=board=9;threadid=1584;start=msg24937#msg24937 date=1089121872
Let me clarify just in case. The poll isn't asking anything about the SIZE of your tips. It is simply asking about the frequency.
In other words, approximately what percentage of your private dance sessions result in the dancer getting a tip?
But it was an interesting response, doc-catfish.
Didn't vote,it varies from fifty to one hundred percent. The place i go the dances are ten so tipping one hundred percent isn't too hard on the wallet, unless we go to ten songs,lol...It's great because the local club is thirty bucks per song and i'm getting like a sixty dollar dance for ten...*evil grin*
