Default Honestly, Do I have what it takes? (website inside)

Hi everyone, I still can't believe I am really tinkering with the notion of stripping on stage in front of a bunch of strangers. I would have never ever considered this prior to my BA but I'm not the same person physically and mentally that I am now either.

Me and Hubby were discussing stripping to make some extra cash and he would totally support me if I chose to go ahead with this. God's know we could use the money, just bought a house and 9 month baby boy and borrowed for my BA, so we're really tied down on one income alone. We go out to strip clubs occasionally and I get alot of attention now that I got my boobs done. That's what got me thinking , (ok maybe a little fantasizing too), that I could do this for cash. Prior to my BA I was lacking confidence but I am slowly building that up and I'm at the point I am now, it's either I do it now or forget about it. We just moved to a larger city where nobody knows us too much and I am not worried about being reconized so this is an ideal situation. Hubby suggested we go out to an amateur's night and see if I get the courage to go on stage. This is where you all come in, guys and gals,
Here's my site please tell me, Should I stay home or go for it?

Any of you start stripping by going to an amateurs night?
    How does amateurs night work?
What do you have to do to win? tips?
Can you chose your hours or days of work?

You have the looks...hope you don't mind some advice from a guy who occasionally visits SCs on that subject...

If it's possible, have the tat on your breast removed.

Wear your hair differently...not that it looks bad, it just wouldn't work in a SC. Ask another dancer how you should wear it.

As for whether you should do it WRT the job itself...

Can you handle rejection? You'll get more guys telling you "no thanks" than you expect. It has nothing to do with your looks...there's just a lot of girls in most clubs and it can be hard to choose who to spend your $$ on. I'd love to come in to a club and spend 200 bucks on every girl there who is nice. But I don't have that much money, so I try to make sure I give it to the girl who I find most appealing. For some guys, that'll be you...but not every guy, and not even most guys.

Is your hub really ok with it?

Let me close by saying that you are damned good looking...once your breasts settle in you'll be smokin hot...you obviously take good care of your body.

thanks for the comments and I agree on the hair. Actual I have an appointment with my hairdresser. Going to get something new. I kinda just whipped a couple photos together on my website.

Hubby is fine with it because he knows it's just for the money and I'm taking this as a job. I can handle rejection as long as I can take home a decent paycheque, thus the reason I posted here for comments.

Again thanks for taking the time to comment.

I can't tell what the tattoo is but if that's you're only i wouldn't worry about it. Go to a couple clubs and see how the environment is and if you. One thing about amateur nights is that it isn't amateurs most of the time but dancers that have danced for a while at other clubs.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

Amateur night is usually the way clubs audition potential new hires. Being a real amateur give you an advantage because most contestants are experienced dancers just auditioning to work, and the audience generally LOVES newbies. Fresh meat.

You definitely have the looks and the only major suggestion I have is to wear your hair down. Most guys prefer a girl's hair down, whether it's curly or straight, and many guys really dig the curly 'wild' look. Your breasts do look new in the pics but that's no big deal. Most dancers go back to work about a month after their BAs and it's no problem, they all still look new. The tat isn't a big deal either; so many dancers now have tattoos it's almost part of the uniform. Some guys like those too.

My biggest concern for you is that you have an honest sitdown convo with your hubby. He may be saying he's cool with you dancing, but inwardly he may not be. You need to do your part to make sure he's ok with the whole thing, and that he will be 6 months later. Tons and tons of men will SAY they're ok with it, but then when it comes down to brass tacks, most can't deal with it.

To find a club to start in, just visit some of the clubs in your area and see if you could see yourself working there. Pay attention to the type of customers, how busy it is, how the girls look and act, staff, how many laps/private dances are being done, general atmosphere, etc. Get a couple of possibilites, then call them up in daytime and ask how they handle auditions/hiring for new dancers, and what type of outfits you can use. They'll tell you when is amateur night and/or when you can go for an audition. When you go for audition or amateur night, arrive dressed to impress with hair and makeup already done. Nice street clothes, form fitting pants and a lowcut blouse work well. Bring your ID and SS card, your dance outfit, shoes, mints, grooming supplies, a lock for your bag or locker. Be on time and in a good mood.

    Good luck!

I hope you're not serious about the paycheck comment. Just so you realize, most strippers pay the club a house fee in order to work. Clubs that pay the girls to work are few and far between. In fact, it's pretty much standard across the board to pay a house/stage fee, pay out on each vip/lap dance performed, tip out dj etc. So with that in mind, there are some nights that just suck ass. Clubs vary aLOT so if you get discouraged at the first club you start in maybe it's just not the club for you. It would be helpful if you could network with girls in your area they can give you the honest scoop on $figures and how things work and what clubs to avoid in your area.

    Good luck.

I didn't mean a pay cheque per say , I meant as long as I take home enough to want me to continue. Thanks for commenting it's quite an undertaking more than I thought but I'm still interested. I really want to try it out before I knock it and say I don't like it.

Actually they are almost 7 months old. I had them put fully under the muscle and they will be slow to drop but I wanted them this way as gravity always wins over time. I personally like the fake look but not overly fake. I think they look good.

Thumbs up Re: Honestly, Do I have what it takes? (website inside)

I think you have a great body! My advice to you is, don't stick your tits out so far, it looks as though you are trying to hard to pose... Please don't take any of my words to heart.. The hair needs to be worked on, maybe a flat iron, deep conditioning, etc.. I notice in a few of your pic's you are also looking down. Maybe it was just the shots, but if not, try to keep your head up and smile, you have a beautiful one! Best of luck to you!

You have a nice body, I'm sure you'll be able to do it. You learn so much more by getting out there and doing it, so do all the research you want here but definitely give it a try! It's great that you're talking to your husband about this too, I see a lot of girls hiding it from their significant others.

My only suggestion is to pull your bikini top down that you're wearing in your first picture, I know you're trying to just cover your nipples but it looks really awkward when the top doesnt start underneath your boobs.

Smile. Relax. Get to the club early and ask for hair and make up advice in the dressing room.

I live way out on the east coarst in New Brunswick.

Me and hubby went out to a couple strip clubs tonight to kinda scout out a bit. I was able to get some information on when amateurs night is and how it works and all. I had goosebumps all night, staring at the stage. It seemed so intimidating. I had a little chat outside while smoking a cigarette with a dancer. (you know you can't smoke any more in all public places, law just passed here) She explained to me how the tipping works and how far they can go with the clients. she explained it was 10$ a lap danse and 15$ and they can fondle my breasts and ass but no touching down below. And it's up to me if I accept the 15$ lap danses. Ypour not suppose to take your bottoms off completely she said with a wink. She talked about having a quota of drinks she must sell too, not to sure what she meant by that. anyway It's getting really complicated hehehehe. She said that during amateur night I'll have time to see how the routine goes. She was very nice person and was pretty friendly. She said that alot of house stripper's are students going to university and most are pretty friendly.

Sorry babes I didn't mean to sound negative, my comments were mainly a counter to Mr Hyde's comments about your hair, tattoo and breasts above. I thought he was a tad negative...

Your boobs do look good, and yes they do look pretty new in those pics, but the point I was trying to make is: who cares! Most dancers with BAs work with that look for some amount of time and it's no big deal. Some guys will like it, some won't, some won't care. The most important thing is that you feel confident with them because that confidence will project much further than your breasts!

Bridgette I really appreciated your comments and I know my breasts are high and look "new", all I was trying to say is when I got my implants I specifically asked to achieve this look. I understand and accept that people will have a opinion on them but just wanted to iterate that what I got is what I wanted and I think they look good in my eyes which is what counts. I asked for honest opinions and I really appreciate yours and MyHyde's as well. I never took your replys or any other as being negative. Like MrHyde posted, I'll have to learn to accept rejection as you can be as beautiful as ever but you'll still be rejected by some. Thanks so much for all your advise. Please continue posting.

You look great hunny. It was really brave of you to do that for so many people and ask them to judge you! I think you'd be a great dancer. Your boobs do look fake, but some people really like that. They will drop soon as well (I think, I dunno much about that). But the point is you pass with flying colours for stripper-hood. Man, even some really ugly chicks even pass so I dunno what you're worrying about.

RE: your hair. You may want to consider wigs. I used to wear wigs maybe half the time I was dancing, and it was great for changing personas. Othewise, I think you probably have very thin hair (I can't tell without getting up close and personal) and too much trying to work with it will just cause you more prob's than it's worth.

You're boobs look great. I had "unders" too, and yeah, they take forever to drop! That's OK, though, in a club, cuz some customers love that look!

As for your hubbie, are the clubs in your area "high" milage or "low" milage? A lot of men (hubbies, b/f's, etc.) really can't handle the milage part. Even if he's cool with you being naked infront of other men, the milage part can really be a prob.

Great ass! I sprung wood looking at it and may have to go home early. Question for your husband...can he deal with this kind of appreciation? Because you will have nasty guys like me whisper in your ear while your dancing, "I'd love to paint that ass with my cock"! And yes its a compliment.

I think you look great. I agree on letting the hair down, but I say be you, see how it goes. If you feel you want to change something, go for it... but see how you as you goes over first.

I'd buy dances offa ya, definately!

thanks everyone , I guess after reading all this , I'll have to do something with my hair

It's been 2 years now since my mishap with a bad hairdresser that left me almost bald. My hair is finally growing back. I'll have to look at doing something with it when I go to my "new" hairdresser.
