I like the older remake of Word Up better. It's by Gun from I -think- 2001. Longer and a tad more suitable if you have a mixed crowd.Originally Posted by BigGreenMnM

Heres one for ya.....Let It Whip By SR-71 (off the new guy soundtrack)

Hope so,just ordered it and it will be here next week!
Will let you know how well it works.!
Thanks!
Yeah it should work in that set, as it stays true to the original but just rocks it out more.

i second the vote for "let it whip". though as i recall the actual soundtrack was pretty sucktastic as a whole. i think there was a remake of "you really got me" done by eve 6 or someone like that. you know, we could always start a little dj pool where we rip cd's for each other of good tracks the other guy needs...that might be fun. philly_dj and i share all our stuff and we've expanded each other's collections enormously.
I'd be game for expanding my music collection, lord knows I need more music like a junkie needs more dope!

well, blade, get it started! make a post about some stuff you want or have been unable to find, and we'll let it go from there.

Yup, in fact I thought they were bustin out the oldies again the first time I heard it, before I really gave it a more thorough listen.Originally Posted by phillydj

Has anyone tried Bitorrents, or some of the new file-sharing methods?
I like Mr. Christopher's idea. God knows I have enough Techno, Industrial, and New Beat to go around.
