Default anyone successfully danced to classical music in the club?

the title says it all. i've had a lot of flexibility in what i could play at the places i've worked, but i am curious if anyone's managed to pull off working classical music in. there's some composers that write stuff that would work from a dancing perspective, anyhow. i include remixed or techno-classical, like bond and some of the stuff william orbit did awhile back in addition to purely classical music.

I actually danced to 2 songs on one of the Bond cds. It was real slow at work and I was tired of my other music so I went for it. It turned out to be ok. The older more successful guys seemed to dig it but the younger guys looked confused or something. It was funny. I haven't danced to them since. I think it depends on what kind of club it is and where you live.Down South the Floridians I played it for didn't seem to like it. But here in my Cali club I hear a girl play it every once in awhile and it's cool.

    Just depends I suppose.

Closest I've come is Sex & Diamonds by Moist (or maybe by David Usher), and Life in Mono by Mono. They have the classical kind of feel...they go over well, but don't know if I could pull off real classical.

I used to dance to some songs by Aria once in a while, it actually worked pretty well. Have to really dance slow and sensual, and certain outfits work better than others. Can't remember any song names, it was a CD from 8 or 9 years ago. It's classical/opera-techno mixed. Good stuff.

Scatterbrain has a couple of songs classical lovers may dig...they are metal versions of classical music and for the rock crowd they go over pretty good.

At the very first club I was a regular at, one of the dancers I spent a lot of time with put on The Thing That Should Not Be from Metallica's S & M recording as part of her stage set. What S & M is was Metallica playing with a104 piece symphony orchestra, and the results were pretty good.

When I complimented her after she was done, she said she did it for me and that she liked dancing to the Metallica/symphony combo.
