Default a good night cream???day moisturizer?

    Hi everyone!

I'm SUCH a product junkie, but I have not found many things that I just CAN'T live without, yet........how frustrating!!!!!

Feel free to give me any product tips you know, I'm ALL ears, but I am SPECIFICALLY looking for a moisturizer. Right now I use Neutrogena Healthy Skin with spf 15, but I'm not a HUGE fan....it's allright, but not great. I want something with an spf for sure...I'm very fair! But I'd also like something for fine lines/anti-aging, etc. I'm still young, but I think I had my forehead all scrunched up for about a year when I was battling depression.....it was way stressful on my normally healthy skin! With the stress has come a bit more oily-ness to my face, so I would like something that is oil-free. Am I asking for a lot, LOL The night cream I've been using is Loreal Wrinkle Decrease, but it seems to make me break out a bit. HELP!!!! I want a nice glow, creamy beautiful complexion!!!(cleansers/toners/etc advice would be helpful, too)

    thanks

The esthetician that I used to work with when I worked for a plastic surgeon is starting her own skin care line. The stuff is amazing (I'm one of her guinea pigs). If any of you guys are interested, I'd be happy to post a link once she's done.

The products are all-natural, so they don't have the greatest shelf life (6-7 months), but they're really good (and since I'm allegic to everything, it's nice that I'm not breaking out in pimples or rashes).

You can find both la prarie and creme de la mer at top department stores- the local neiman marcus carries them. Be warned- they're not cheap. The creme runs 110 for an ounce.

I'll post her skin care link as soon as she has it up.

She's also looking for people to try samples... I'll post another thread on this.

they are expensive, but they last long and work extremely well.

Iv'e used everything, esp lines from the derm, and nothing to me works better.

I am still young, and want to keep my skin in the condition it is in.

You can try buying it off ebay if you use it, they are like at least 30-40 percent cheaper then a department store.

Always a face cream day or night with an SPF of 30 is what i use. I use Retin A at times, but stopping some, too much peeling is happening and it looks unatractive.

I use nivea face cream at night, it's thicker and holds the moisture in my skin. Days i will now use Oil of OLay with sunscreen over it. it's light and not oily, as i have oily skin.

Over the counter alpha hydroxy products work well. As does Avon Anew.....the price, shit.

If you want young looking skin, i believe in mixing products every few months. Never stick to the same one. Skin changes as we get older, and so doe it's needs.

Good ole Crisco works great with your hair tied back while the house, wash first, let skin stay damp, put Crisco over damp skin, locks moisture for many hours!!!!! A washcloth also takes dead skin cells off the skin for a healthy looking complection! After throw on a sunscreen! Vitamin C is great, but breaks down quick, once opened. Avon is really starting to catch my eye.........

I see Avon came out w/new prod. (serum) called Deep Crease Concentrate, or something like that. It has been getting rave reviews in wmn's mag. I use Almay Kinetin lotion SPF 15, it is a milder retinol. They have a night cream, & SPF day cream. I also always use SPF 45 on my face, neck, chest, etc.

during the day I have been using Eucerin Extra Protective Moisture Lotion with SPF 30. I've been using it for like 6 months now and I really like it.

I was browsing the yestheyrefake skin board and the ladies over there were talking about some spf 100 cream. Anybody use anything like that and where do you find it?

Also, what's the deal with zinc oxide? Good? Bad? anybody?

CCB Paris has some good stuff. I used to use their night cream for imperfect skin...works really well at clearing up pimples. The day cream was too oily for me though.

I like burt's bees marshmallow vanishing cream and evening primrose overnight cream. Not to mention that burt's chap stick is the best! I like the almond hand cream as well.

Katherine, do you mean the beeswax lip balm?? I find the peppermint to be sort of drying.....I have SUPER dry lips! I can't find much that helps....I like the cocoa butter lip balm from the Body Shop.

Wow, so many great new things for me to try! I think I might try the Almay Kinetin lotion and the nivea for at night.

Pamela, is the nivea not good for the day? Like I think there is the "simply glowing", is it any good?

I do mean the beeswax lip balm. For me it last forever. The vanishing cream protects sensitive skin. I find it soothing. I don't know if it works for wrinkles, I haven't gotten any yet. Devinn, In the cocoa butter thread I mentioned the body shop body butters, I love those!!

Bioderma Photoderm Max spf100, it's a French product, it's hard to find in the US.
