A lot of the dancers here have recommended Snaz75 (www.snaz75.com) for shoes, but I don't recall seeing any specific mention of narrow sizes. For this reason, I'm also going to suggest you check www.pierresilber.com
My ATF is close to your size and has narrow size 5 feet, so she has trouble finding lot of shoes that fit, either for work or daily wear. Pierre Silber had some on special - the styles change frequently - where the price was so low ($19.99) I figured it was a no-lose to order a couple. One dancing pair and one streetwear fit perfectly - actually better than a pair she picked up at a local lingerie/dancewear store. Of course this is largely luck on internet sales, and it was only two months ago so I can't guarantee the shoes will last well, but they might be worth a try.

Your best bet is to go to a shoe store near (that carries dancing shoes) and try on the different brands in your size to see how they accomidate your foot. This will give you a general rule of thumb which will help you when ordering shoes online. However, as each pair of shoes is designed differently (some have larger straps, built in arches, etc..) there is never a sure bet. If there aren't any stores in your area, here are some shoe companies that I have tried that are still operating.

I find Pleasers to be the most narrow of the styles I have tried.

Sunset Strip is next along the line (they are my shoe of choice).

Older styles of Ellie brand shoes are wider than their current styles, as they changed their sizing and shapes in this past year, but their current cut is still a bit larger than Sunset or Pleasers.

You can order all these shoes from ineedshoes.com. Or, if you live in the Lower Mainland, you should check out the store and James or I will help you to find a shoe that fits.

I second that Pleasers are narrow. I have size 5.5-6 wide feet and I bought a pair of Pleasers. I'm going to need to stretch them out a bit by wearing them for a few hours at a time at work so they'll accomodate my fat little feet!

When I worked at an adult shop, the shoes we carried were always running small. I'm a women's 10 but the shoes there were too big. So I'd avoid em. Highest Heel was the #1 brand we carried, and is a fairly large supplier overall... Jezzie was the other.

They have some Pleaser's on Zappos.com which has free shipping AND free return shipping if you don't like them for whatever reason.

Well in my opinion, Ellie is the best....
Pleasers used to be #1 until they got greedy and started using cheaper materials... As for stretching out shoes, use a hairdryer! it really works.. or a wooden clothing hanger, but that takes longer.
