Marasmus ... "Ladies don't fart. They butt-laugh."
Marasmus says, "Oh no, that wasn't gas, it was merely a rectal chuckle."
Marek says, "A friend of mine got punched in the face by a dominatrix stripper about two weeks ago and I thought of you."
Didn't the chalk make a mess? When I used those in gymnastics, I would walk away from the bars with chalk all over me...
I'd say that you're better off wiping down the pole with alcohol and then using something like DryGrip (about $10 bucks per bottle... at http://www.poletricks101.com/poletricks/default.html) OR they also have Bowlers Resin Grip...non messy.
Hope that helps!
Could baby powder have the same effect?
No...baby powder actually makes things more slippery.

I got 5 bucks that says the girl comming up directly after the girl who uses any of the above mentioned items,is gonna get alot of chit on her outfit and be really pissed off.
Clean it with alcohol or rub it down with a clean rag.
Yeah, I was a gymnast for some number of years and the chalk will get all over you and it will STICK. While it shows hard work in gymnastics, I can't see how it's attractive on a stripper. You know what I'm sayin'?
BigGreen, the dry Hands is really good. It's a "lotion" that you put on that "dries" up the palms. I've used it before at my club and it's never left a residue. I am not sure about the Bowler's grip, though. Baby powder is a definite no no along with Gymnasts chalk.

dry hands is great... it has the feel of chalk but without the mess. Gymnast chalk wouldn't work because the pole is brass or stainless and the chalk is made for that wood or whatever they make the bars out of...
I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.
