Default Is $45 a standard house fee amount? And other fees?

So I visited a strip club in S. Florida tonight.... Its small/medium in size and a topless club. I was told that it was $15 house fee and then with the dj fee, manager fee, etc.. it would be $45 a night. No tip out on friction or lap dances. They charge $10 for a lap dance. $25 for a friction dance and the dancers keep all the money. And then there are different private rooms and VIP. Which range from $50 to $400, not counting the dancer's fee.

Does this sound pretty standard? The other clubs I've worked at... I didnt have to pay a house fee because I worked 6 to 7 nights and made a deal with the manager. So, I just had to tip out $5 for each dance and tip the dj and housemom.

    What do ya think?

    For me it varies:

    $100 Friday and/or Saturday
    $50 Wednesday and/or Thursday
    $30 Sunday, Monday and/or Tuesday

That's it. No "compulsory" tip-outs to the DJ or anyone else. Tho' the waitresses are open to tips so there's one avenue. Also, our hostess we have to tip 10% of whatever dance she managed to sell for us.

this is actually quite a bit better than the tipouts or stage fees other clubs may charge. In Manhattan clubs where dancers are allowed to keep 100% of their private dance/champagne room money, stage fees can range from $80 to over $200 a shift depending on the club. In other area clubs which charge low/no stage fees and which require similarly low mandatory tipouts to DJ, bouncers etc. the club often keeps up to 50% of the dancers' private dance/champagne room money.

So where were you in S. Florida? I'm in S. Florida....

This is pretty standard in Florida however,

    I pay $10.00 House
Minimum of $10.00 to DJ (I always give at least $20.00)
Minimum of $3.00 to Bouncer (I always give at least $10.00)

$23.00 is the Minimum at my club which we consider our club to be the cheapest in tip-outs. This is how we keep many girls...

We also keep all of our money. They do not charge for the dances we do.
    I charge $20.00 per song
Minimum of $200 for 1 hour in the Champagne Room

Maybe I should come work at your club.
I'm in the Fort Lauderdale area. I'm also considering looking at some clubs in Miami to compare.

Yeah, that sounds good. Although I would ask the DJ about the last two days that you don't have to tip out. I found out "free house fees" sometimes mean that they take like $3/girl from the tip out you give the DJ. I found this out about a month after I started working at my last place and man was I pissed. All this time the DJ was only getting a percentage of what I thought he was getting! I don't know how often this happeneds, but it was a at a chain SC.

Along with that great tip out of ours, the fifth shift is free house.

The only bad thing for us is, if we miss a shift, we have to pay for it...House, DJ and Bouncer....

My House Fees are $25-$30 per night plus 10% to the DJ and 5% to the bartender.

Shit I think I'm being burned...what do you guys think of this?

At my current club, I pay out on weekdays:
    $20 house fee
    $10+ tip-out to DJ (I usually tip $15+)
$11 for each $30 lapdance, and $34 for each 4-for-$100 special
    $105 for each $200 30min champagne court

On weekends, the house fees go up:
    $45 house fee
    $10+ tip-out to DJ(I usually tip $20+)
    $5+ tip-out to housemom(I usually tip $10+)
tip-out to the light guy(I usually tip $17-20)
$12 for each $30 couch dance
$35 for each 4-for-$100 couch dance special
    $105 for each $200 30min champagne court

Are these fees high?? I still make decent money after paying out around $100 in fees before counting fees for all the dances I do, but still...it seems kinda excessive, don't you think? And then there are the fees that they love to give out for tardiness/truancy:
$20-50 late fee(basically whatever they feel like giving you; and if you don't pay it one day, it's bound to go up the next!)
    $35-75 absentee fee
$25 bathroom fee if the toilet gets clogged; EVERYONE gets one, whether you used the toilet and/or were working the day it got clogged and/or were even working at that club at all when the toilet got clogged!!

for philly, that sucks (unless you're not working here, then I don't know what it's like where you are.)

A high house fees and they take almost half of your dance money. I found it's one or the other around here. But if you're leaving with an amount you're happy with, then it's worth it.

That's another thing about housefees. They usually reflect earning potential at that particular club. The better the club, the higher the housefee (generally) because they can get away with charging it.
