    Default mystic tan

ok, did the mystic tan yesterday for the 2nd time. This time it left my hands and feet reeeaaaaallly orange.. Not sure if im going to do it again.

Does it matter what salon you go to to get it done? The didn't have the feet covers or the nasal cover. Just barrier cream, i think that may make a difference.

Ok.. what to do to get the orange out.. Showered twice already...

Just use a scrub brush. I also slather on the barrier cream. bend your wrists so that you don't get as much solution on your hands and then wipe off your hands and feet really well...

This happened to me before, I used a pumice ( sp?) stone on my hands . It kinda doesnt feel so nice, but it scrubs the orange away.

When i did mystic I just put the cream thickly every where they said and scrubbed it real good right out of the booth. I used the wet towel they gave. It was fine.

Also take baby wipes with you....it helps to get the tanner off. You can also google "remove self tanner"....

I've been using Mystic once a week for over a year and I never look orange. There are different levels (1, 2, or 3) Level 1 has the finest mist, Level 3 spits out a lot more of the product. Do you know which level they put you on?

A good salon will only give you a level 1 the first few times until you get the hang of wiping it off. Level 2 can be used if you are already pretty dark and efficient enough to wipe it all off before it streaks. Level 3 should only be used by larger individuals 6 feet or taller.

Oh, I just remembered something....did you do Mystic or Mist-On? I found the Mist-On product to be much more orange than the Mystic brand. In the Mist-On shower, you have to make 3 quarter-turns, and it sprays you 4 times. In the Mystic shower you just have to turn around once and spays you once on the front and once on the back.

it was the mystic tan for sure, and i did level two..
the only protection they had was shower cap and barrier cream and goggles.

no nasal plug, footies or anything..

I didn't know they had diff. levels of Mys. There's a lady on this site, she sells an airbrush tan thing. They also have one on Qvc, but hers is cheaper.
