I've swung around a Platinum Pole (the totally removable kind) and it was very stable.

The issue with the blatant packaging, however, is not cool - any comments, PlatinumStages?

Sorry about the outside label. We have changed that and now put it inside with the instructions. Thanks for the comment though.

I just got a platinum stage and pole. The total cost with shipping was about 460.00 - 475.00. I just got it totally set up (it will take two ppl to assemble) and i love it! I did think it was a little expensive but now that i have it i couldnt imagine using some makeshift home depot pole. Its alot bigger than i expected (the stage) which is great! I reccommend dancing an extra night and just splurge on this item. Its worth the money buy one soon before the price GOES UP! Good LUCK girls!

I have the platinum stage and pole, and absolutely love it! PlatinumStages is spot-on about the legalese--the warning is really a formality (was a lawyer in my previous, boring life). The video on the website showing the woman spinning and inverting would override the warning, I think.

I do every trick on the pole I know, including crazy spins, flipping upside down, climbs, etc and it never budges. The stage is bigger than I thought, which is a real plus!

My question--is this supposed to be a portable item? I guess I missed the instructions on how it can be easily broken down and set up again. PlatinumStages, would you please advise? Thanks!

Not to step on toes, but I bought mine at lilmynx and paid a little over 300$ for it. It does require that you mount it in the ceiling, but you can take it down in like 15 seconds. It rotates. I love it

I want the pole with the stage, but what if the stage is too small for me? Can I remove the stage and still use the pole? or am I stuck with the stage and forced to walk around in tight circles?
