    Default Eyelash Application

Does anyone know how to put on fake eyelashes? I keep tearing a spot of my eyelashes when I use the curler and now I have a bold spot. I wanted to put some lashes on but I don't know how...any tips?

I hate those damn eyelash curlers!

The false ones are easy to apply after a few practice rounds. Don't put too much glue on them and take your time positioning them over your lid. They are very easy. Most come with instructions. Good-Luck!

MAC makes good eyelash glue...here is a major tip...let the glue dry on the lash a little bit before u apply it, just blow on it a little bit, this'll keep the glue from smearing and it'll stick better.

MAC sells a glue called Duo...they don't actually make it though. The glue is sweat proof and humidity proof, I know that!!

Like someone else said, let the glue try a bit before pressing them on...I usually blow for about 15 seconds and then set them where I want them. Using the end of some tweezers to push them in to place...or the slanted end of an orange stick.

I have some Revlon brand "fantasy lash" self adhesives. But never used them yet. I've heard that some cut them, & just put a piece on the outer eye corner.

If you just have one bald spot get individual lashes. It's a little cluster. Put a drop of glue on a tissue and dip the end of he cluster in it. Wait 10-15 seconds for the glue to get tacky and then apply. I find the the lashes are best for the outer lashes because of the length, but it's no trouble to trim it if you have to.

If you use the full lashes, apply the glue to a toothpick first and then use the glue on the toothpick to put it on the lashes...it'll keep a nice, neat line without excess glue. Wait about 15 seconds (blow on the glue) and then put the lashes on. It sticks better when it's tacky and not wet.

Thanks Ladies for all the tips. I did use the individual lashes and like Katherine suggested I had to cut them so if would match the rest around that particular area. I loved them! They were hard to get used to at first but they worked out just fine.
    Thanks again!!!
