"The problem with the world is that everyone is a few drinks behind."
-Humphrey Bogart
"Sir, if you were my husband, I would poison your drink."
-Lady Astor to Winston Churchill
"Madam, if you were my wife, I would drink it."
-His reply
"If God had intended us to drink beer, He would have given us stomachs."
-David Daye
That is a great story. I love that we can train dogs and other animal to help people with disabilities. It really gives disabled people some freedom.
Animals are amazing and too often taken for granted. Cool story, Mojo...
Like the car, I'm exotic, erotic, and expensive....![]()
Very nice story!
It reminds me of a story I saw on "Miracle Pets". Some lady was "babysitting" her daughter's pet pot-bellied pig. She was having a heart-attack, and was laying on the floor. The pig kept going in and out of the doggy door (between checking on her, and trying to flag someone down to help). She would lay in the middle of the road and play "Dead Piggy" (A game that her owners taught her). Her going through the dog door added to the effect, because she was so big she scraped her belly on the bottom of the dog door. She cut herself and was bleeding. A ton of people just passed her in the road, thinking she was dead. A guy finally stopped. When he did, the pig got up and started walking toward the house, and back to the guy when he wouldn't follow. He finally caught on, and followed to the door. He heard the woman crying for help and called an ambulance.
I completely agree with Ferrari. Animals of every kind are always taken for granted. They know more than we think.
I dug up a link to a story about Lulu. Enjoy!
