    yet another stage name question

heyall!! just one more newbie here pondering that ever-so complicated amd very important first step question for beginners.....

what will my stage name be?????

i'm short (5ft kinda short), short curly hair (every shade of brown and blonde), white irish skin (the kind that stays tan for like an hour if you're lucky), big green eyes, a petite/kinda athletic build, and b cups (but it works with my shape). so.. much to my dismay... i've never really been able to pull off that hot-hot look that so many dancers work so well.. no matter how hard i try i can only get to that cute-hot look at best... so as you can probably guess, i dont think my stage name should imply anything sultry or exotic.. it should stay light and airy, but not too cutsie *gag*.. but at the same time something unique ya know..

zizi is my regular nickname (short for elizabeth) and i thought that might be able to work

but my friend suggested "karma" the other day

i dunno.. this is one of those things that i've been wondering for years in the back of my mind and now that i've actually decided to do it... it seems like its a really important part of forming your stage persona and i really wanna get it right : )

so.. if anyone has any ideas at all i'd appreciate any and all input, suggestions, things to stear away from.. you get the idea

thanks so much ahead of time ladies!!

I think Zizi is cute but you might not want to use your real name. Most dancers I know use a stage name. It kinda adds to the mystique I think. And I REALLY like Karma. It sounds exotic and pretty and don't worry - when you are onstage you are not looked upon as "plain" by any means. In my experience, the very fact that you are up there at all makes men look at you in awe as if you are a goddess! I'm new to dancing too so PM me anytime and we can give each other pep talks! Good luck with everything hun!

In all honesty, I don't like Zizi for a stage name.

    How about something sexy like:

    Simone

    Leslie

    Madeline

    Khia (K-Eye-Uh)

    Good-Luck to you sweetie!

I have found that if you use a "real" name not one like ( and no offense to anyone using these) chocolate, raven, ice, coco, cherry, the list goes on and on men do not like it. I have been asked too many time by customers why dancers do this and all I can say is I have no idea. You will find alot of customers asking you ..."well what is your real name... i know your mom didn't name you ...instert stage name here..." . It can drive some nuts...but in choosing a name you like and fits you that is a real first name even a off the wall exotic one you will find that either you aren't asked as much (since it will still happen) or they will just believe when you tell them that it is your real first name.

I agree, I think you should use a "real" name... a girl I know is ALWAYS asked what her real name is.. her stage name is Huny.

thank you so much for all your input ladies!!

so.. i'm going to stick to a more "real" stage name

i love vaden's idea: "simone".. its uncommon enough without being too exotic

i think i'm going to go with that for now.. i'm really happy with that but i'm always open to suggestions so if anybody has any more ideas just swing em my way

thank you all so much again!!!

I say pick something that is a real name that can be remembered, Dierdre is allright, but you are young and it is kind of an older name... My stage name is Heather, it's believable and friendly and it really doesn't sound like anyone elses. I always try to pick a name that no one else has anything similar to...
I have been Heather, Brooke, Cindy, Iris (for two weeks), Kirsten (too much like Christin)

I would pick a pretty girl name that you really like, check the porn sites, porn stars always pick great names...

Or Sateen.... also spelled Satine, I think it's from the movie Moulin Rouge.. Love that name! You can naughty or nice with a name like that, I kind of wish I had picked it for myself.

Gotta represent for the Irish...especially if a girl has the right skin. I saw a girl in RI earlier this year who had the red hair and the freckles in all the important places (I find that to be a better tip on a real redhead than hair color on any part of their body).

Irish themed names might work...Emereld is almost too cheesy, but at least you have green eyes...I'm tempted to say Esmerelda, but I don't think it'd work...good names with Irish root that are more regular: Cara (Spelled with a C or K), Fiona, Kaylee (however you like to spell it), McKenna, Taryn...or one of my favorites (a name of a favorite character in a story of mine), Sierra.
