In some clubs lap dances go for about $20.00 right. So, my question is....
Do you have to give the club a percentage or half out of each lap dance? If so, is this in every club or just a select few?

almost every club takes a portion of the dance money. For example at one club the dances were $25 and the club got $5 of it.

Ok, how does that work? Do I have to give it to them by the end of the night or weekly? How does one keep up? I'm so silly, I may even forget to pay up...lolOriginally Posted by kryssy

It most likely depends on the club.
There is no set rule for all clubs. Each club prices, cuts etc are set by the owner.
Vy, my club does not ask for any money except, House, DJ and Bouncer.
I am very happy that I don't have to give my lap dance money away.![]()
At one club I had to pay for the night that night before leaving. At another club we paid for the dances right after we were done with them.
Trust me they will not let you forget!! lol
Each club is different. Texas clubs do not take a cut of lapdance money as far as I know. When you start, they will inform you of the rules.

I don't mind tipping who I have to tip. But crap, giving my lap dance money would suck!!
But maybe they wont because it's $20.00 for customer entrance, so i'm assuming they make their money like that. The manager is going to give me more details when I come back though.

Yeah, that's what the manager told me. If it's like that, I don't want to work there.Originally Posted by Katrine
Any club that sells alcohol makes 99% of its profits from liquor sales. Taking a cut of the dancer's LD money is greed, pure and simple. A house fee is understandable, it makes the girls work harder (sometimes) to recoup their costs and can go to maintaining good dressing facilities, paying a housemom, having a boutique, etc...
Tipping out is also beneficial because it (sometimes) encourages management to be your advocates, and insures that your DJ will have good equipment, and the music you and customers request (sometimes).
Unless its a juice bar, cutting into a dancer's money is nothing short of a scam........but in some clubs, there isn't much choice.......

They also have a system set up to waive house fees by the number of dances you do and the bouncer keeps track of that.

I've never paid any lapdance fees to the clubs I worked at but I'm in canada ! We pay a dj or bar fee (I think that money goes to the club anyway) but it's small and thats it !
