i see dancers who dance for themselves and they seem to be working it like its a useful exercise routine. when the do it in a way that they have put some thought into, it can be appealing. The worst is the "pole walker", esp. when no one seems to be at the stage. I can guarantee you that I know one more person who will not be moving to the stage for the "lost look".

i appreciate good dancing, and when a girl can be into her own performance it can be enjoyable, and appreciated even far away from the stage, which might help her goals 2

Pole walker just holds the pole and walks around it or to another one if the club has 2 poles onstage, usually with one hand and looking very bored.

As for dancing, get a cheap full length mirror, and check out how you move. Just dance slow and wear some heels, before long you will get the hang of your better moves, and what looks hot!

Smile at the guys looking at you. Don't get lost in yourself and just wait to get off stage. I find that it's more 'posing' than dancing. Sometimes a great song will come on and I'm bouncing around that stage, but for the slow dancing it's kinda like moving slowly from one sexy pose to another.
