What do you do during the day? What are the hours you usually work at night and how much sleep do you get?

you just have to make yourself get up so that you can adjust your sleep schedule!
Quit eating grains, dairy and meat. Or at least cut back significantly.
You'll be amazed how much more energy you have that isn't devoted to digesting food your body can't process in the first place.
Idealism is fine, but as it approaches reality, the costs become prohibitive.

Exercise can give you energy. Do you work out relatively often?
Maybe you can take supplements as well, such as guarana (sp.?) or caffeine tabs.
If it is a persistent thing, then you may have to consider seeing your doc to sort it out.
Also follow the advice on diet given already if you're not already doing so.

Well, I have the same prob. I take a fair amt. of vitamins, inclu. C 1,000 mg which is supposed to give energy. Sometimes avacadoes help, & take vit. E I take very little dairy. I have to have some meat, or it's really bad. I don't eat that many grains either. For me it's overwhelming stress & depression.

I have this trouble too, from a sleep schedule from hell. Also, PMS makes me lifeless for a day or two before my period. I've been taking Evening Primrose Oil for that....
Exercise is a good way to make more energy. It take a few days, but you'll feel much better and alert.
You might have Seasonal Affective Disorder..nothing to be ashamed of, but if that is the case, there are specific supplements that can help, like Saint John's Wort and Same-E.

I work Mon-Fri, from 9am to 5pm. I go to bed at like 10-11pm & wake up at 7:30am. I get enough sleep.Originally Posted by RachelleD

I'm going back to the gym this week, couldn't go for a while bc I didn't have the money(i'm not dancing yet, soon). And yes, when I use to go i'd have lots of energy. But this is seriously chronic though, even when I wasn't going way before then I wasn't feeling like this. It's weird.Originally Posted by Malibu
