I am not trying to defend him - I am trying to defend the next person in the wrong spot at the wrong time.
JUST to clarify: If a woman decides to abort her pregnancy within the first trimester, then it's her CHOICE.
HOWEVER, if a pregnant woman is murdered, and her pregnancy is PAST the 12 weeks gestational period, then the perpetrator WILL be charged with both the mother's and the baby's murder.
Big...you are trying to compare apples to oranges.
Now...the latest murder. Lori Hacking...she was rumored to be about 5 weeks pregnant (I believe) when her husband murdered her (now THAT is going to be another interesting trial)...chances are...he won't get charged with the killing of the baby as Lori Hacking was not over 3 months pregnant.

I think Scott killed Laci because he didn't want to have to pay support after a divorce. Anyone else want to take a guess at why he did it?
I understand he has not show any emotion during the trial- not even about the baby or the family and their pain from the loss of Laci- I think he must be one of those people who has no sense of empathy or compassion.

Because he's an amoral asshole who thought she wouldn't be found, his life would be simpler, and he could get away with it.
That's just my guess.
You're all wrong...
I think it was because he thought he'd get more dates being known as a murderer than an adulterer. Guess he just forgot to factor in the jail time.
I think because he didn't want his "family" life getting in the way of his adultery. Sad...very sad.
