OMG... I seriously woulda beat the living shit out of her if that was my son...
And people wonder why I left Connecticut....
Nothing much to do in CT but get drunk, go to Indian casinos, maybe check out some of their infamous stripclubs, and of course pay California-like gasoline prices (lack of nearby refineries and some of the highest gas taxes in the nation are to blame). This lady has problems, couldn't she find some fifteen year old to take advantage of. And they all said that Mary-Kay Letourneau chick was messed in the head lol.
yeh 2 damn right it is....

I am not a violent person (I was raised by hippies, I mean my middle name is Sunshine, you do the math) but the day someone pulls that shit with one of my kids is the day they find the business end of a pitchfork lodged in their face.
What I am curious about, is if she is gonna end up in a mental ward - or a prison.
Cuz if it was a guy diddling eight year old girls - I think we all know where he would be ending up.
But watching TV and reading the press, there seems to be the idea that she needs mental help stirring up. (Doesn't sound like a whole lotta "she just need some counseling" judgements here though!)
Or, are there really extended circumstances to this case?
Personally, I think she can go to counseling with all the other pedo's in the slammer.
Poor kid...hope he turns out alright.
Lovely..... I grew up in that city lived there for 22years .. unbelievable and very very sad!!!!
A LITTLE mental problem? You've gotta be kidding me. A freaking 29 year old woman who is sexually interested and involved with a SEVEN year old has more than a LITTLE mental problem. Absolutely revolting.
Evelyn Imre, the suspect's mother, said her daughter had "a little mental problem" but she declined to disclose details.
My heart definitely goes out to this little boy. What the hell is he going to think of adults now? Someone he's supposed to be able to trust did this. Ugh. I hope he'll be able to recover from this.
She'll probably get off with about 1/3 the sentence a guy would get if the genders of the case were reversed. Seriously, what is up with the double standard for punishment when it comes to the two sexes? Maybe justice will be served, but I doubt it. Katie Couric will raise money for her defense.
This has been all over the news here in CT. No words except for "sickening." She should go into prision and never come out...I don't think this kind of mental problem can be fixed by short-term therapy. Poor kid.
The reason a lot of people say "mentally unstable" with kids is because society thinks that a woman's natural tendancy is to "mother" children. When they do things like this...well, people think it's just a mental problem...which it is.
I cannot believe that this is becoming more rampant...Mary Kay, that chic in Florida, there was someone else, and now this one.
Keeeeerist.
I guess my mind runs off on tangents that it sould not, but where was her daughter while
this ws going on? Was she,the mother, sick enough to include her?
I can remember when this sick behavior was limited to the male.

I think they were only looking for males because of the above mentioned belief that women were only "nurturing."Originally Posted by ccand7
Ugh.. I still don't get it. How can people say that having sexual intercourse with a SEVEN year old is nurturing? It's freaking sick, and WRONG. There's no other way to see it. That's in no way nurturing, it's sexual assault. A seven year old knows absolutely NOTHING about intercourse, as well he shouldn't.
It doesn't matter to me if the offender is female, or male. They're still the lowest form of scum. And how freakin sad is their life when they have to resort to sex with a CHILD? Effin sick.
Sorry, had to rant. This crap really pisses me off.
REVOLTING! That makes me ill.....![]()

Ummmm...just a correction here...no one said that this behavior was "nuturing". We simply said that society is becoming more aware that women are sexual predators with children, as well. Whereas before, only men were thought to be abusers because women were thought to be the nuturers of the children.Originally Posted by Rhiannon

I wasn't directing that at anyone here, just society in general. There are some people who will sympathize with the woman, and probably try to justify it by saying "Oh, she was probably molested as a child", crap like that. There is no excuse for it, no matter what reason is given.
In most cases, they totally discount what happened to the child, and make the offender out to be the victim. It's disgusting.
I agree with you thereOriginally Posted by tragic-beauty
I saw a picture of this woman on the net (and of course I can't find it now...). She's actually attractive...weird.
The teacher in Tampa who was banging the 14 year old student raised my eyebrows in a Mrs. Robinson sort of way, but this is just...bizarre. Mentally Ill? To say the least.
Amen to that.Originally Posted by Sirona

You always hear of rape on young girls but on young boys? Gosh, I'm sure that the statistics on that are probably higher than we'd like to accept. That woman should be punished severely. I can't begin to imagine the mental anguish that boy must be suffering. A seven year old FFS.
Sick. Very very sick.

That reminds me of a Law & Order:SVU episode. The detectives find a piano teacher who has been diddling his boy students and stabler (guy detective) basically befriends and has sympathy for one of the boys who is now older. He saw him as a victim.Originally Posted by Rhiannon
Then, when he sees a video tape of the same young man molesting a child at the piano teachers behest - it is quite an emotional whiplash.
I thought it was a really good episode - cuz as the viewer you see this kid as a victim and sympathize with him. You get to know him, and you get to know that he has been emotionally traumatized.
Then - when things run their course as they seem to be portrayed as - it is an emotional whiplash to discover he too has been "carrying on the trade" so to speak.
Leaves one realizing that the whole situation is way more complicated than preferred.
Unbelievable. That poor kid's warped for life - I've got boys that age and they're not even close to being emotionally mature enough to work their way through all the crap that comes with something like this! Unfortunately, between the loss of her mother and the difficult time she's undoubtedly going to have in dealing with what her mother's done when she finds out about it (if she doesn't know already), the little girl's probably warped for life too, even if she wasn't forced to participate. What a nightmare.
