what religion are you mainly?
no religion as such, but believe theres something out there mighty and powerful
no religion , at all.
christain of some sort
jewish
muslim
other
what religion are you mainly?
Spriritualist. Have experimented enough (with religion, you sick and dirty people) to see that what one religion calls God, another calls The Great Spirit, and another calls Allah...all boils down to the same common goals, rules and so forth.
For me, the natural world is the true teacher...wilderness is where things work the way they're supposed to work. If humans would just realize they're a part of a larger whole, and not in control of everything (or deserving/capable of that role) life would be much simpler and more "humane" (I hate that term).
Lazy Catholic, sliding towards Judeaism. I frequently worship at the Church of Me ; P
I'm a Christian since I was very little. I feel slightly guilty about dancing but I try to act good and kind in other parts of my life besides dancing. Are there other Christians dancers out there?
I have a big problem with what I believe are "man-made" religions. I truly believe there is much in the universe that we do not understand, and may never understand. Do I believe that an all mighty loving being is guiding us and watching us through our everday actions - no. Do I believe there is a powerful energy that flows through all of us and through every thing - living or not, that gives us this incredible system of complex organization - yes!
Any religion that claims to be the "true" religion, is nothing but a farce looking to increase their recruitment numbers. If you follow religion, Great! have a belief and moral system that you can follow, but for heaven's sake (no pun intended), don't force feed them to me! and leave politics and religon separate, dammit!!!![]()
On that note, did anyone see SNL? Here's a quote from Jimmy Fallon for ya:
"Officials in Georgia have mandated that schools continue to use the word evolution when teaching science. However, as a compromise, dinosaurs are now called 'Jesus horses'."

I worship at the church of the almighty Blade.
I've been a catholic, a satanist, a wiccan, and flirted with buddism, all in the search for whatever was out there.....now I know the only thing out there for sure is me, I can see me, touch me(which I do quite often), talk to me, and understand me(sometimes) so fuck it why not worship ME?

Episcopalian. Yep... and a pretty regular church go-er, at that!
The sex was so good, the neighbors needed a cigarette!

Pagan/Wiccan
I was raised in a Southern Baptist home and my family's a firm believer in the christian faith.
I however always had questions about it and I just didn't feel it was right for me.
So, when i was in highschool I found something that I really truly believed in and have stuck with it for many many years.
Paganism.
I became a Pagan/Wiccan for many reasons.
1. I believe that all living things have spirits, and I believe that spirits are all around us.
2. I've encountered many supernatural happenings that i still can't explain to this day.
3.I believe in the Astral Plane.
4. I believe in reincarnation and feel as if i have been reincarnated before.
5.I believe in the Goddess/Spirit/Deities/ Nature which is why I chose to follow this particular path.
6. I believe that the energy around us can be used to help us in our everyday lives.
Those are just a few, there are many more but you get the idea.
My name -crystalstarfire has a metaphysical connection as well. Crystal represents my favorite crystal the quartz crystal used in high divination practices. Star- as in the stars that I use in my astronomy chart and Fire-as in my favorite element which is fire. -just thought I'd share that.

I'm Jewish. With a pretty strong religious backround in my family.
Because there ain't no tits on the radio
I chose "Other".
Most already know my beliefs anyhow, but let's just say Pagan.. Not Wiccan. People know never to confuse me with that.

Myself I'm what the hubby calls a "dabbler" The hubby is Pagan.
I don't follow any particular religion but I do believe that there is a higher power and it is something us stupid human beings will never understand no matter how much we try. All religions pretty much have the same message...just be a good person, do what you can for your fellow man, and don't purposely go out of your way to do evil and mean things to people. I don't have to go to church to follow those things. But I respect people for their beliefs even if I don't agree with their beliefs.
"And Bill, lamenting how you never see a positive drug story on the news..."Today, a young man on acid realised that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration and that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and you are the imagination of yourself. Here's Tom with the weather...!"- Bill Hicks, The Greatest Comedian Ever!

I come from a strict catholic, and I don't practice it. I would love to start going to church again, but that's something that has to come out of me too...not bc i'm told to.
This is one subject I do NOT wish to speak upon

Baptist born and raised. I don't have a problem with religion just don't like how men set their own rules to it.
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
Let's see went to Catholic grammar school, Public junior high and high school, and a Jesuit Liberal Arts College. If anyone can drink frat boys under the table, it's those Jesuit priests and only the top shelf stuff too (Johnny Walker Blue Label among others).

Pagan. Not Wiccan. Green witch-ish.
Fallen away Catholic. Used to be actively involved until the pedophilia crisis. Was proud, now I’m ashamed. Feel the church has lost all moral authority to guide me.
Millitant Agnostic ("I don't know and neither do you!").
I am not religious....I am spiritual. Nothing has f'd up religion more than humans.

Atheist, I don't believe in Santa Claus either. But ya'll go ahead and do your thing while I burn in hell.![]()

I'll save you a seat.

Dark pagan with an occasional lean towards LaVeyan Satanism. It's sort of like normal paganism, except with an emphasis on the dark god/desses and a keen emphasis on symbolism, inner energy and focus. The Satanism is something I picked up years ago; I can't quite agree with the atheistic and anti-Christian slant of Satanism, (nor some of the discepencies and in-fighting in the Church), but the vicious passion, egotism, and emphasis on the self that it presents I have greatly incorporated into my life.
My policy towards religion? Live and let live, and don't impose your words on someone else's dogma.
"All the world's a stage, but the play is badly cast." - Oscar Wilde

My beliefs have already been explored in an older thread... I think it was on the old forum.
Regardless, the label I have chosen is Solitary Eclectic Neo-Pagan Witchcraft. I'm too damn lazy to follow an actual "system" or any one "tradition" so I created my own which works for me. Sometimes I'm more active spiritually than other times... for the past year or so.. I've been a bit passive with it all. Yet my spirituality allows me to do so.. as I still live my life according to my spirituality.
Overall tho' I absolutely agree with the following words:Life - Growth - Death - ReBirth. For me, the natural world is the true teacher...wilderness is where things work the way they're supposed to work. If humans would just realize they're a part of a larger whole, and not in control of everything (or deserving/capable of that role) life would be much simpler and more "humane" (I hate that term).
Spirituality is something more personal. Religion is, usually, an organised group thing.
