    Are these shoes acceptable??

Ok, so, this is like my millionth thread, but I'm new... lol... I bought these shoes awhile ago thinking they'd work out well for my dancing endevours, but I'm not sure now after reading another thread from a girl who bought hers at aldo... these are from walmart (LOL I know! But give them, and me a chance)... I included a pic... please look and then post your response! Thanks Girlies...

PS- they have straps that wrap up your calf, and they're 4 1/2 inch heels... this is good? no?

They're good if u have long legs. Most dancers where 6" or over just because it makes the legs look longer and better and the ass look higher and perkier. Those are good tho, I just prefere stripper heels personally.

I think you better go with the dancer shoes because they are made for that and would maybe be more resistant !

No, trust me. I did the mistake on getting shoes that weren't stripper shoes, and thought I can pull those off but they just wouldn't look right in the club. They're hot as hell shoes though.

Those are really nice shoes maybe you can try using those only if you are not sure you really really want to dance. If you know you are sure you are gonna do dancing for a while then buy real stripper shoes.

Depends. Some clubs have a 4" min rule, some fave a 1" platform min rule on top of that. They might be okay for now, but definitely invest in a pair of clear 6" platforms. They work great for everything!

They are sexy shoes, but save them for outside the club. IMO, stick with an actual dancer heel of at least 6 inches. It just looks nicer and like CrystalEyes said, they are more resistant.

Since you are not used to dancing or walking around all night. Wear these for a couple of weeks and then upgrade to the stripper shoes. They're not any better (quality wise) sometimes than "regular shoes", but I always found that when I wore my stripper shoes, I got more into my "stripper self".

Besides, the 6"+ heels are cool.

Those should be adequate for the first few nights. But wear them out dancing to a regular nightclub first. If they are hard to dance in or cause blistering, then by all means don't wear them at work!

I agree with the others. Wear them-after all you have them already. But after a night or two buy the six inchers. You want a sturdy plastic platform and heel that's in one piece.

personally I think regular shoes just dont look good on stage. Most new girls dont wear stripper shoes there first night, but you need to get themasap. The shorter your legs, the taller heel you will want to go for. I usually wear 7-8" heels and I am 5'6' flat footed. When you buy them, you might want to take a couple laps around the kitchen before you hit the stage. Dont try to wear them on your carpet in your house, even the most skill fulled may have problems on soft carpet.

They are sexy, but they look like they would hurt!! As stated before, buy the stripper shoes; they are made for being on your feet all night. I would recommend sticking to the shoes that are all one piece of hard plastic for the bottom from platform to heel with a steel bar for reinforcement in the heel. You can get some good deals on all kinds of stripper shoes at .

They're alot better than most footwear new girls tend to pick. My suggestion is to at least up it one more inch esp. if you're under 5'6, or else your legs will look like treestumps...

Will you work at a gown club?? If not, you might want to incorporate them into a "prom queen" themed kinda outfit. This girl at my club does that, and it's really quite sexy! She'll wear some cute black heels (maybe just a bit taller...) that wrap up the leg, with a goen, and some long silk gloves. Then she'll carry one of those japanese style fans on stage. That, with a touch of "bling-y" costume jewlery is HOT!

ouchie! I had some shoes like that and my feet would slide right out, no support.... they are cute but I agree with everyone else... Id say get the 6" heels, clear with an ankle strap for support OR boots (be sure to wear thick socks)

They are nice shoes, but not really appropriate for dancing in. If a woman at my club wears anything other than obvious dancing shoes she sticks out like a sore thumb. I def prefer the platform six or seven inch shoes. You could try boots too. They are easier for me to walk in.

They're cute, but they don't look comfy! It really depends how much you're on stage (ie feet at eye level). If it's not a lot, rock on with those shoes, if it's more than once or twice, I'd suggest the stripper heels.

I fought the stripper heel thing for a long time, but I recently switched back to them and i have to admit that everything's just a lot more comfortable and easier in them! There's a reason that they're the norm!
