I wouldn't dream of having a type.
Why restrict myself to my own limited concepts of what passes for a beautiful woman and therefore miss out on the opportunity to appreciate the unexpected?
That said, personality makes up for physical shortcomings everytime. Hell, it has to, or I'd never get any action myself.

I couldn't pick any of the options, because I think that its a bit more complex than that. My fave has a body that isn't exactly "great" but is certainly better than "average". Her personality is what takes her up a notch. What probably keeps me attracted to her though, is that she's there consistently on Tuesday night and knows I'm good for dances when she sees me.
Every customer generally "rates" a dancer on three criteria. How much each criteria counts depends on his tastes. You can also break each category down into subcriteria.
Appearance - This should be obvious of course. Face, body (and specific body parts), hair color, skin colors, choice of clothing, etc.
Performance - Some guys prefer the term "mileage" here, but I eschew using that because some guys prefer a more hostess type experience to hard grinding dances, and a host of activities that need to be referred to by 2 and 3 letter abbreviations. "Performance" covers both groups. You can break that down into stage shows, hustle, and how she does her dances, VIP's, etc.
Personality - Her work ethic, her intelligence, how she treats the customer, how she treats the other dancers, etc.
Now I don't seriously analyze each dancer by crunching these numbers into a calculator (that would be lame), but if you were to put the three criteria into a pie, mine would break down to about --> Personality = 45%, Looks = 30%, Performance = 25%.
Ultimately, it often comes down to chemistry. Some dancer-customer relationships have it, some don't.
Former SCJ now in rehab.
Since most of the dancers I've seen are usually in the 7-10 range, only their personality sets them apart. Pretty face, great personality, better than average body usually does me in.
I like personality...and I personally have TYPICALLY (notice how I used all caps?) have found that the more average in appearance the dancer is, the more I like her personality...the less she "works" it...the more she is able to give me my fantasy that I actually fucking matter...even when I know I don't.

You've got excellent responses so far. Right on target.
What attracts a guy is never a "type." Your ability to read a customer's reaction and connect to him on a personal level is far more important than trying to conform to an imagined "type."
Personality and intelligence are the most important to me, but of course every girl in the club is an 8 - 10, so what a great pool to choose from.![]()
Guys are so overwhelmed by visual physical attraction that I don't think we even have the slightest clue about how to control that or even understand it. What I mean is that some kinds of physical attraction can get under a guy's skin, and once that happens, he's hooked. That's what you are looking to do.
Example: About 30 seconds after I saw my ATF, I knew I was doomed. Just totally screwed. There was something about her appearance (and later her personality) that just totally overwhelmed me. I think I may have actually stopped breathing for a while. Anyway, I could not have predicted this by listing out physical or personality attributes or ranking them. Much later, I realized that she bore a striking resemblance to Elizabeth Montgomery, except she's younger, sexier and funnier than when EM was on TV, so there may be some deep, twisted Yungian archetypal insanity at the bottom of all of it. Who the hell knows? Who the hell cares? Being confused and at the mercy of it all is part of the fun.

I'm curious why, in these polls, no one ever seems to include the options:
average girl, average personality
or
hot girl, hot personality
We all know these types exist in the SC and that some men will prefer them too. If a girl is hot, why do people assume she doesn't have a personality to match??? Or if a girl is average, why do people assume she must have a great personality???

I've never had a problem finding a great face/body/personality combination. The elusive variable has always been DEPENDABLE.![]()

I look at all girls the same..in and out of a strip club....
Face is the first thing i notice
Personality second.
Body last.

You must be one of those, I guess...Originally Posted by Bridgette

I don't really have a "type".
Personality is a big magnet,Skinny girls who look underage with medium sized boobs, pretty eyes and a friendly auru.

You could be hot from head to toe, but if your personality sucks ass then in my eyes you're ugly.![]()
Word!

It must be the personality type for me that keeps me interested. But first I see the face and then the body. Then if I am attracted, I start wondering what being with her would be like.
A Story. (This is not the same gal I described in a very early post here.)
In this club and saw a dancer who was a bit above average in face and in body (slim), but who dances (nude, very explicitly) like she's trying to get all the guys hard (and does). Over the months I saw here there, I talked with her and got a few dances. Second time and always after that, she would come over to me, give me a short kiss and very nice tight hug and and I would return it. (BTW, 3-4 seconds like that and I'm getting excited, and I am a great hugger/kisser too.) We talked with our faces very close together and touched non-sexually a lot. After a few meetings like this, during our initial close hug each time, she would give me a little rub down there and say looks like you're glad to see me again.
After a couple of weeks and I knew her social situation was OK, I asked if she'd like to see me socially. Now, I very rarely have asked that. Next time I saw her, she said she would like that. (Good that she had to think about it.) We had been talking very sexually at times, so she said also maybe I could demonstrate a few things for her. She said she'd been thinking about those things and was very interested. I sure was. Something happened to her (not me, probably an ex-bf) because she left her job and I guess town too, and nothing outside the club never happened between us. She was very interesting to talk to and she related well to me and I to her. We always had jokes for each other and talked erotically a lot. Sure miss her. Durn, durn, durn.
So to me there is a lot more than the appearance to consider, eventually.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.
NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.

well speaking as a female (if my opinion counts) who's only had one dance from a female so far, the one I decided to do it with was very sweet and cute but her personality played a large part in it.
hot girl, average personality
The only Bush i like is between your legs.
