yea there's some older dancers at my club, but every customer has there thing. maybe some of the customers don't like us young girls. different strokes for different folks. not trying to be rude jast i find for me the less i worry about everyone else... the more money i make. and it's all about making the $$$.
I remember going to a club in South Dakota, I met a dancer that was 56......Now, Well. She was nice, kind, etc.....But her boobs were down to her hips, her thighs had a road map of veins popping out, etc. It was frightening! She got on stage and danced to a Madonna song, I never saw so many people leave out of a club once she took that bra off....
I still have nightmares.

We used to have two girls at my club that were in their mid 40's. They made some serious cash, they were missing quite a few marbles and smelled like moth balls, lol... but they did make money.
The oldest at my club now is about 36...
What is considered "old" for a stripper? I suppose it's somewhat relative, I met a 45 year olde dancer once who was...VERY hot...and I've met strippers in their late 20s who already looked old and used up. But in general, what do you all consider to be "old" for a stripper?
I guess I might say...40?
I say over 40, but some look very good for their age!

I am not talking about the girl that are hot if you are hot you are hot ya know. I am talking about the girls like Rose delight is tal;king about. Like i said before nothing against anyone ...do your thing but i think their comes a time in every dancers life when they should sit down and review their options hopefully having saved some money along the way.

Where the heck do you work that they have dancers that old and ugly as you say? I work at top clubs across the country and the majority of the girls are in the 25-40 age rangeWhith quite a few being in the 30-35 range. Most look better than the ones 21-25 who have pot bellys and other not so wonderful assets. Most the clubs if the girls are still working and older its because they make money. Most suit and ties like a women 30 plus.
When it looks like she needs a cane to get on stage.... that's too old. I've seen it. But then again, I've also seen a 23yr old who walked with a cane outside of work (yes, she was a stripper, and limped around the club).... but she still made money. Hmm... I dunno, I just think 50+ , if you look it, that's too old.
Then again..... maybe just when you stop making money.![]()

Gawd......
Old joke (but maybe this explains WHY these older gals still dance)....
Middle-aged man walks into the Bunny Ranch and asks for the oldest, ugliest, bitchiest woman there. Rather than head for the bedrooms, he takes her into the bar and buys her a drink. Within about a half hour, the two of them are drunk as skunks and fighting like nobody's business.There..... did that help explain anything?
Finally, the Madam walks over to him and says, "Say, Mister, it's your money, but I gotta tell you, you've got the strangest kind of HORNY I've ever seen!"
The man says, "Horny? Nah... I'm a traveling salesman and I've been on the road for a month. I'm not horny. I'm just HOMESICK!"
The sex was so good, the neighbors needed a cigarette!

Yeah....but there are PLENTY of girls out there under 30 who look bad, fat, rough, etc. Why not make a post about them, and if they should still be dancing? Hell, I've even seen some TEENAGE dancers who looked bad already. One at the Yellow Rose in Austin has a gut, saggy ass, plain face, etc. She's 19....not to toot my own horn....but there's NO WAY I should step aside at 32 when more and more, younger girls aren't up to par anymore. I'm not saying this 19 year old shouldn't be dancing...after all there's a market and a club for everyone.Originally Posted by devilkitty

Brittany, I've been in some dive SCs in the past, and I'm always amazed at some of the girls I see in places like this. How some of the "strippers" I've seen out there can attempt to use their bodies to make money amazes me. Guts, fat, huge asses, ugly...you're right.
if you're fabu beautiful like our pamela, keep dancing! if you're boobs are super saggy and you have artheritis don't dance(young or old!)
Ok...just cleaned up the thread. If you have nothing nice to say...or if your comment is not on-topic, please do not post.
Now, on with the festivities.![]()

What exactly is an over-the-hill stripper? This has to be a touchy subject. If they all looked like Pamela and others, let them continue to dance. I think there is always one or sometimes two dancers though that should have hung up the g-string and platforms long ago. They look like they've been dancing so long that even in the flattering light of the club that you can tell that they shouldn't be dancing anymore.

Like the majority, it's no so much the age but how a dancer looks and if she can still make money. I have seensome older entertainers that should not be on stage but I've seen more that need to stop that are younger usually under 30.
I hope that I am the one to realize that it's time to hang up my t-bar before other do.
This is a touchy subject ...I think that ages between 18 and 40 is a good age range to dance. if you look good and feel good and still make money well more power to ya... i personally think that mangers sould ultimatly decided the cut off age for thir club and use more sense when hiring a woman...plus i agree that some younger dances shouldnt be dancing.. just because they are young does not mean they should get naked in front of alot of people ya know.
I'm 36 years old and i know that my time to stop is in the next year or two.....not because i look old or because i dont i look good.... but because thats what i want.

Heh, I am on the younger side of "older" for a stripper - but apparently I am the OLDEST chick at my club. There is one who is close to my age, but still they're all in their 20s. I am one of the top girls there![]()
I have worked with women over 40 who looked damn good and made great money. One in particular who was 47 last time I saw her and her body looked SERIOUSLY as good as any fresh 18yo. No sags, no bad skin, no stretch marks, tight and toned. I have also worked with a whole lot of younguns who obviously didn't take care of themselves and looked just plain BAD.
I think if you take care of yourself, look good and can work it there should be no age cut off. What if someone used a cutoff of 40 and a hotass 45yo walked in, who looked as good or better than the 20-somethings in the place - would she be turned away? I sure as hell hope not!
However I do think there SHOULD be an "ugly cut off". If a girl is just plain homely and/or her body is in bad shape she should not be hired. No matter her age.
I often hang out with a dancer who is a 44-y.o. grandmother who looks 34 and has a body a 30 year old would kill for.
Between hairstyles, makeup, dim lights---fantasy is fantasy. Talent and personality sell, not the calendar.

Well now days 40 is the new 30...I say as long as you're hot and making $$ then keep dancing.

Sure, if an "old" dancer makes money for herself and the club then she should dance. She's
probably got charisma, a good hustler, or maybe still has her looks.
Now, let's expand this topic a little to age discrimination. Yes, to some clubs it doesn't
matter if an entertainer makes them money... club rules say you've got to be under 30
or 25 or whatever. I've even been allowed to work for a night or two when a club was
shorthanded... and made more $$ every time than all the other dancers of any age, color, height, looks... (without any regulars)
before they told me if I was "hired"... talk about an extended "audition". Although I proved
I was the best, when the general manager of the chain came back to town I was told
I could not be hired simply due to my age. The reality is club management wants us
to be young and dumb (that is ignorant, inexperienced, naive, unlikely to "make waves")....
they don't really care about success. The badly managed clubs anyway.
