    STARDUST rocks!

Read Good Omens. You'll need a doctor you'll be laughing so hard.

Also check out 1602. It's the Marvel Universe 400 years too early, complete with a blind mistrel named Matt Murdock, a court magician named Strange, a spymaster named Fury, and a magicians apprentice named Peter Parquar (Spidey).

    Gaiman rools.

Check out Smoke and Mirrors, as well. Gaiman Short fiction.

He also has a short story in Legends 2 featuring the main character from american gods.

I read the original. It's not the sunshine daydream disney portrays it as. Unless you like dancing in red hot iron shoes... Like most German faerie tales.

Hell, in Hansel and Gretel the witch actually EATS the kids (in the original tale), not to mention that they were abandoned in the woods because their parents couldn't feed them (One wonders how much famine was in dark age germany).

German Faerie tales are always dismal, and usually involve food (The wolf ate Red Riding Hood in the original tale).

French Faerie tales have better endings, though they are usually sad. Like in Beauty and the Beast and the little Mermaid (The Beast dies, the Mermaid has no soul, what, you thought the cartoons came from nowhere?).

    Can't beat the original product.

I can't think of one 'happy ending' in any faerie tale other than the tale behind "Cinderella" (French).

This isn't even getting into arabian faerie tales... (Lets just say that the Genie, Djinn in the tale, wasn't a wisecracking sidekick, it was an evil spirit imprisoned by Allah for a reason in the original tale).

    Diary by Chuck Palahuinak (sp?)

    This month's Travel and Leisure

I picked up that Napolean Hill "Think and Be Rich" that DW always reccomends @ Half-Price Books, I'll read that on the way to NOLA, doesn't sound too interesting.
