Default A Yeast Infection Question-Please Advise

So when I went to get my test results from the clinic (all fresh n clean, yipppee!!!) the nurse said that there was some yeast. I looked at the results, and they have a scale of 0 to 4 for the yeast content. Mine was a 1. I don't have any itching, or burning, or discharge. Everthing smells like heaven down there.

So they gave me the 7-day Monistat equiv. Hey, it was free. This was a few days ago and since nothing was bothering me, I just found it and took it for the first time this morning. Has anyone had this experience, no symptoms, etc? Should I go the entire 7 freakin days? I have to work and I don't want it leaking out of me, I am a bit nervous, even though I am in a thong. Also, I had my period since I got the test. Do you all think that might have re-balanced the PH? I havn't called the clinic or anything because it is impossible to get a hold of anyone. Besides, they would tell me to take it, right?

Finally, I want to have sex w my BF tonight before I leave him for a week.....will taking the inserts (liquid w an applicator) be bad?

Sorry if this is gross stuff, I swear my puss feels great!

    Thanks in advance......

Ugh..I hate yeast infections but besides that I have had that before where I've almost had no symptoms and I still took it so it wouldnt get WORSE. Do you know how much medicine is in each application? Sometimes you have to do a little comparison. Mine wasnt bad at all but bought the 3 day treatment (the walgreens kind even) with 200mg of miconazole nitrate cream in each tube.
I'm not a doctor but sounds like your symptons are very mild but by you starting a treatment now will prevent you from experiencing a very very hellish later if it were to get worse. And, yes it is bad for you to have sex while doing treatment not only because you want it to work effectively but to prevent him from getting the yeastie beasties too.
But, of youve got like $10 or so try buying a 3 day treatment..7 day treatments is for really bad symptons IMO. Hell, I got mine at walgreens; the walgreens generic kind and it worked great.

I would do the treatment anyway. You don't want a hellacious infection in a few days or weeks... They suck ass. I'd recommend the 3-day package with the ovule inserts. Creams can be nasty and don't stay in as well. The one day package never did shit for me... but I had horrible infections.
