    Default my surgery update-HELP

Help!! I think i went tooooo big!! What to do now?

I was a 32c before the surgery and he added 410 cc's of saline and they are like big weights on my chest!!! im a 34-36 d now....

Has anyone else had this problem?

Once the pain subsides and they DROP CAN I GET A REDUCTION???

    should i consider one now?

When the doc asked what size i wanted to be i told him double d, not thinking that they would be this darn humongous!!

    I WANNA CRY!!!

Don't forget, too...with the surgery, there is some natural fluid retention and swelling. You may want to wait until everything settles and goes "to normal".

One of my friends wanted a DD...and when her swelling and all went down, her boobs looked good. Before that, they were HUMONGO!! Now, they look big, but good.

I'd say wait a while and see how it goes...

Same here. They will come down a bit and the size will reduce when swelling goes down. Don't panic hun, it's normal to think they're too big at first because 1) you're not used to them and 2) they're swollen. I think once they settle you'll be quite pleased

relax - in 3 months they'll 'fall', the post-op swelling will be gone, and you'll be wishing that you went bigger LOL - especially after you see your club earnings grow as much as your boobs did.

he didn't really give me the option of overs. What would have been the difference in the outcome?

Don't worry, people are always unsure of their boobies right after surgury. They'll definately change a bit over the course of a few months. I remember when I first got mine I thought I should have gone bigger (I'm a DD)! Now that I'm no longer dancing I see that is ridiculous as my boobs are already huge. I find too that you have a different view on boob size when you are not a dancer anymore. When are a dancer you want them bigger, when you're not you don't so much anymore.

I'll bet yours are fabulous, just wait a few months to make any decisions.

It takes months before you get your finished look and over a year for the feel. BA's always look much better after the 2 year mark in my opinion.

Dont worry sweetie, they are swollen and high... they may feel heavy but with time it goes away.... Id say go to I loved that place before and after my surgery. They have lots of info on there! At least you got your DD at the first procedure! I have to go back and do it all over again

You'll be ok, just wait at least a month

I think overs generally settle lower than unders. Within a couple months, mine had settled exactly into the position they were preBA, just bigger and fuller, which is what I wanted. Also I had lost some fullness due to age (from a D to a C) and wanted that oomph back, plus some I think unders were probably better for your final look - just be aware that unders take longer to settle and for swelling to go away.

i have the strips on for 2 weeks, and cannot put any lotion/oil on it until they come off.

Wow, these hurt so bad. I had no idea! Especially when i wake up and cant move my chest or find my pain meds!!!!

Ill post a pic in a couple days in the gallery section if anyone wants to see postop.

    thanks everyone!

I was gonna ask you to post pics! You know we wanna see!

My doc told me to take vit e basically forever, for the first month he said take 800-1000 IU, then cut it back. Now I take 400IU daily. It's supposed to help healing and help keep the scar tissue inside from hardening (capsular contracture).

First of all congrats on your new set. I know the pain is a bitch I was in pain for 2-3 weeks. Like veryone has said so far your boobs will drop and the swelling will go down before you know it. I have heard some of the ladies say that Arnica Montana works well with swelling and pain. I plan on using it when I get my redo. But, I would talk to your PS about taking any vitamins. Tampa let us know when you post the pictures.

    Tampafldancer:

I had saline unders 10 yrs ago - I wish I had pics from right after the surgery to show you, but DON'T WORRY. I remember I had so much swelling, they look so ugly right afterwards, but they WILL do the "drop and fluff". Promise!

Unders do take longer to settle into their final shape than overs do. Mine rode high and looked "torpedo-ish" for about 2 months. By month 3 I was starting to feel really good about them.

One place you can look to see some good "progression" photos is on a Canadian site, canadaba.ca Look at the before and after photos, go to "photos from patients" saline section, and #22 reminds me of how I was right after the surgery and how I ended up looking. There is a lot of great information on that site. I hope those photos reassure you a bit. There are probably more and better examples, that's just one I found after looking for 2 minutes - you can browse and probably find some examples of girls who are more your size.

I am actually going for a redo this December. I am going for cohesive gels this time as I had a slow leak on one side.

I live in the Tampa area, too. I am about to be 32, and I only danced for about 3 years, started on the east coast of Florida, and I worked at Scarlett's briefly when I came to Tampa, maybe 7 years ago? It was a really nice club! I was sad to see it gone.

Anyway --- take care of yourself, try not to stress, remember the way you look now, especially with the under the muscle placement, is NOT going to be your eventual look.

Tampa congrats on the new boobs sweety. Just like the girls here said, give it 2-3 months and it will go down. And don't forget to rub in a capsule of vitamin E over the scar too. It will diminish it alot.

PS, I wanna see pics too.

    Who did you go to?

I went to Diaco and had unders via the armpit (meaning hardly any incisions). Mine were between a D & a DD for at least 3 weeks (375 cc and 410 cc) I am a C now and wish they were bigger. I was a B before. I can't even wear the tops I wore the 1st 3 months after surgery. (I wear an XS/S now, and I bought M tops after surgery.

Mine took a month to drop enough for me to be happy. 2 months to be totally comfortable.
I bought several of the camisoles with shelf bras and still think those are the most comfortable thing to wear.

Well this doc that i went through goes under the nipple and underneath.
You all know what i chose!!! But, i've seen before and afters, and he leaves a barely-there scar <crosses fingers>

Since I'm the first to comment, let me say that you look really, really great. I mean the rest of your body looks hot, too. Once everything comes together, you are going to be smoking.

You are carrying a lot of new weight high, so I can see how that would be painful, and your skin is stretched beyond anything you are used to.

You have such great advice from the dancers here: wait, wait and wait. They will drop, and when they do, wow. I can't comment first-hand on BAs, but I've had several cosmetic plastic surgery procedures and have learned the wisdom of the saying "surgery is violence to the body." You don't come out of surgery with the look, you "heal" into the look. It takes time.

In three months, you are going to be so happy and so hot. What a great combination!

You know...my friend's boobs looked like that. they've now "dropped and fluffed". A lot of that is going to be just natural swelling and fluid retention (your body "fixing" itself).

I think that you should wait a few months. I know that it's hard right now, but I really think that you'll be much happier with the results if you give it some time.

I think your boobs before looked great and I think that your new boobs will look great, as well!!!
