"And Bill, lamenting how you never see a positive drug story on the news..."Today, a young man on acid realised that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration and that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and you are the imagination of yourself. Here's Tom with the weather...!"- Bill Hicks, The Greatest Comedian Ever!
Got a guided fishing trip for Scoripo.
He got me a piano.
Me to her, a new rock with sentimentality factors attached.
Her to me, new wheels, two of them.
Me to her: three crystal roses, one red for her(her favorite color), one blue for me(my favorite color), and one clear that symbolized our relationship.
Her to me: granting me permission to take photos of her on a certain day.

I sent my ex-fiance and her sister on an Alaskan cruise... they were having major difficulties and needed some time alone to sort it out...
Best gift I ever got from a girl wasn't physically tangible, but when my ex stayed w/ me in the hospital for 30 days during a surgery that I almost died from due to malpractice...

Given: well it wasnt the most expensive....but it was probably the most time consuming. I bought my ex a website(www.hernamehere.com) and hosting service for 2 years and setup the site for her(portfolio and things for her modeling career)
Best gift I've gotten? I dont remember anything that great![]()
One of the coolest things I scored for a boyfriend was a Theatre sized Clerks poster signed by Kevin Smith.
Best I ever made was a pencil portrait of Humphrey Bogart, his fav actor.

That's very cool, Sirona!
Gift I've gotten: My best friend (ex bf) knows that I love art, and he went to an auction and bought me a Van Gogh painting.
Gifts I've given: I got him an autograph guitar from Slayer. He loved/loves it, It's pretty stinkin cool!

^ HOLY SHIT! Kerry's or Jeff's? And how did you score that?
Your ex should worship you for that...among other things I'm sure.
I bought my ex a ton of stuff, but the thing she cherished the most--the best gift she said she'd ever received from anyone--was a $700 LV Monogram Musette bag. Considering how little I know about that stuff, the shock value on her face alone was worth it, nevermind the gratutide afterwards. Ahem.
The girlfriend before that bought me a Thrustmaster F22 joystick (the Rolls Royce of flight-sim controllers, even now). It's been 7 years now, and she's married someone else, but I still have the stick.
Yeah, I'm a geek like that.

I went to Ozzfest, and I have a friend that was doing some technical work for the tour. He met the band and got them to all autograph a guitar for me. I toyed with keeping it for myself for a long while, but I decided to give it up.
You bought her a purse? See purses and shoes are always a winner!

I gave my love a chicken, that had no bone..

.....Sorry.
^ Great quote, Scorp.
Yeah, but we still don't know if it was Jeff's or Kerry's!RoseDelight, 2 thumbs up to the Slayer guitar. "stinkin cool" is an understatement!

^ Yes, back in the early days. He also wore it on stage during the Seasons in the Abyss tour...

gave: Svorski crystal dragon because she loved and collected dragons, kind of a magic/fairytale thingy
got: Doesn't seem much because it's a turtle reading light, but it had a lot of sentlemental value to her b/c she a had a pet turtle named Tommy the Turtle as a kid.
Isn't an original Van Gogh a lot more expensive than a sportscar? lolOriginally Posted by RoseDelight
