    Default Leave in conditioner/detangler

I have long, med. thick hair. None of the previous leave ins I have, seem to work. (Neutrogena, no more tangles, Hask, FX extreme shine, etc) I also bought, from Sally's Beauty supply chain Aura brand; Rosemary mint. Might as well used plain water. Thanks.

There is a leave in conditioner made by Wella. Try ordering it at your local salon.

I have thick hair also and what works best for me is,Rusk smoother passion flower & aloe leave in texturizing conditioner. It really makes a difference. Also, farouk biosilk, and other rusk products, their marine lustre and their calm conditioner.Trust me if you try any one of the products that I mentioned you'll be very happy with the results.

Whirl the leave in conditioners are just ok for extra help for damaged hair. As for a detangler, brush hair well right before washing, and shampoo on the scalp. Rinsing will wash the hair with the suds going through your strands. Also follow with any conditioner you like. Blot hair dry, never rub. and while hair is still damp spray on an extra bit of water (yep water) with a light conditioner mixed. Finness (sp) makes a light conditioner that is great when mixed with a little water and sprayed over your head, wet hair or dry!

As far as tangles go, they say if your hair is thick, course and below your shoulders, you will get tangles.

Bumble and bumble leave in (rinse out). You can use it as a detangle in the shower and rinse it out, or you can use it afterwards for extra moisture. I even use a bit when my hair is dry just to tame and smooth it out. I swear by this stuff!

3-4 eggs, 1/4 cup of olive oil, and a dash of glycerine. Work into dry hair, cover with shower cap/plastic cap of some sort, wrap in towel, sleep. In the morning rinse with cold water, wash & condition as usual.

My hair is a horse's tail normally, and is so soft after I do this.
