Tell them you temp. So you move around to lots of jobs and getting personal calls would get you in trouble? I temped for a while and some offices HATE personal calls.

How do you shoot the devil in the back? What if you miss?

Another one that I've heard of which is popular is outside sales; although, this will only work for daytime shifts. You are going business to businesses and you're not in an office; therefore, only way to reach you is on the cell.

I've said I was doing outside sales once it worked great because we had late hours.

I knew this guy who owned a business and I was his personal assistant. I didn't have a desk at his office, so they couldn't visit, and since I was running around doing errands all day, they could only be sure to get me on my cell. You could try that.
But I do like DJ russ' idea!
their is always the good old "cocktail waitress". but I like the diner suggestion also, hopefully you live in a larger city that is awake 24 hours, it would be easy to pull off.
I am dancing in a different state from where I live. Hell, even a different part of the country,
so I tell everyone that I am going to work as a cocktail waitress while I am traveling for 2 months. My mother is (very surprisingly) okay with it. My 16 yr old brother told his friend that I was an accountant (hah!).
My boyfriend is the one who has the problem, he doesn't think its a good idea to tell ANYONE!
Funny, because in his words "Its always been my fantasy to have a stripper for a girlfriend, but why you?" LOL
I know around here you can bartend at 18. If you can serve a table an alcoholic beverage other than beer or wine as a waitress, then you can bartend too.Originally Posted by EvilPixyDust
