    Default An Uncomfortable Situation

Since there's more coverage by dancers on the pink side, I'll put this up for help.

At one club I go to, I've developed a nice casual relationship with Ms. L. She's nice to me, appeals to me in all the right ways, and does her dances for me in a very enthusiastic manner.

Where this is uncomfortable is that when she does part of her dance, I can get a whiff of body odor between her moderately large breasts. When she smushes them in my face, I get the full smell. It's not pleasant, to say the least.

How would I go about telling her that this little detail is an issue and is causing problems in my enjoying her dances?

Seppe if you werent a regular here Id think you were fucking with us. Who ever heard of boobie BO? LOL

Seriously, I dont see a way out for you. Either invest in a clothespin for your nose or move on to another dancer. I cant imagine having the conversation with her about her problem unless you guys are really really good buds. Maybe some of the other members will have some better insight.

    I agree with, FBR...

I don't see there being a way you can politely bring this into the conversation, I really don't. I remember working with a dancer that had a very disgusting 'vagina' odor. I don't know what the heck it was but it just smelled rank. All the customers had noticed, and even some of the other dancers. One customer finally went up and told the House Mom about it, and the problem got fixed. For some reason, She wasn't 'smelling it'....My question is, How could you not?

    Here is a way...

write a note about it, make it nice and make it clear that this is otherwise a good dancer, but the BO needs to be fixed. Make it anonmyous. Send it to the club's manager by mail.

Rose LOL a great question. I have a terrible sense of smell (which can be advantageous sometimes) but I know Im in the minority. I would think a smellcheck prior to hitting the stage would be a good thing amongst the ladies. Find a problem...break out the perfume.

That's a good idea! Or just stick one of those car freshners on her chest. They are making some pretty ones for Christmas.

Wow. That particular conversation would have to suck. On the other hand, it would be better for her to know, since other customers have probably also noticed it and it might be affecting her money.
Are you and she really close? If so, it might be OK. Does she have a good friend in the club that you could enlist to tell her? Or I guess you could jsut buy her some perfume...

Eh...It seems that the girls with the larger breasts run the chance of having the "smelly boobie" syndrome. From dancing and sweating, it can cause them to smell a bit. I had the problem with the sweat under my boobs...but I always used wipes to freshen up and re-sprayed body spray.

The dancer probably just doesn't realize it. After all, when you're dancing in club with cigarette smoke and the smoke machine...you may not be able to smell something like that...especially since she most likely can't stick her own nose into her boobs. LOL

I think an anonymous call to management would solve the problem...

Tell the house mother or the manager about it. They are used to these conversations. "Your hair looks terrible", "You can't stick your fingers up there when your on stage", "You've been wearing that outfit every set for 3 weeks", " You have Booby BO". It all goes with the territory. Chances are she probably is not aware of the odor. If we could smell ourselves better most strip club customers would probably bath before going in...

Just don't let the girl in question see you approach the House Mom.

People can rarely detect their own odor because its around them and therefore they are adjusted to it.

Ladies, no no no no no, don't EVER wear perfume in a club. It will cost you money. Many guys, me included, won't go anywhere near a dancer who wears perfume. We have somewhere else to go when we leave and the last thing we want to do is smell like perfume. Better a little body odor.

    Interesting perspective.

I go in with a blend of just-out-of-the-shower and light Marc Jacobs for men. I come out smelling six different ways from dancers' perfume. All very good. I would sorely miss it if they stopped wearing any perfume.

I also have an ongoing game with a couple of dancers where they climb into my lap and rub up against me for about 5 mins. "to pick up some of my scent." This is sort of an ongoing tease, but kinda cute.

Visual, scent, touch, music, pretty much in that order, right? It would be asking a lot to give up on scent just because you carry some of it home with you.

Okay, Let me get this straight. You'd rather us have a body odor than having your SO find out you were at a strip club?

And I thought boys couldn't get any weirder.

I don't have a problem with the perfume per se but my favs are all sensible enough not to wear too much of it. Actualy, my retired ATF's preference for Dolce & Gabanna coast me quite a bit of cash over the years.

Apocrine sweat glands under arms and on nipples are the main sources of an "off odor." More generalized eccrine glands come into play when the body perspires for cooling purposes.... One of my faves starts to smell "off" when she really gets into it. We're friends and do what we both like, so I told her what was happening and she freshens up more often now.... It works both ways. She tells me whenever I have glitter or whatever on me. That's what friends are for.

If someone contacted the managment at my club and said that a dancer had smelly tits, he'd laugh his ass off and hang up on you.

Nobody in my club gets in trouble for being stinky or a bad hair day, or even to loose weight. If you make money you stay, if you dont make money you can't pay house fee so you don't stay.

I don't think anyone was suggesting that the person get in "trouble". Quite the contrary, in fact. He's trying to find a polite way to be helpful.
