I like shick quattro. Or the Gilette M3, never tried the vibrating one- too scared.

Anyway, men's razors are not only better than women's, but usually cheaper too. I haven't used a women's razor in years. When I did, I liked the venus one.

I'm down with the Venus kind. In total honesty, since it's winter and I work in an office right now, I only shave when my dude comes home for the weekends.

I loved the Venus when it first came out, never knicked myself shaving at all... but man! The refill blades are almost as expensive as the original razor. If I remember correctly, the Venus is actually just a remarketed version of the Gillette M3, so now I just buy the mens and save the money for shoes!

Terribly smart, but I'm so hooked on my pretty pink razor. Pink razor, pink iPod... Good god, I think I might be a girl after all!

Um...I feel like a bit of a dork for posting in this particular thread...but I have to comment....since I shave my head. While the Venus may be more expensive than the men's version, which is the Mach3, I have actually found that for shaving my head, the Venus is MUCH better. I've cut myself pretty bad with the Mach3. Never with the Venus. It's made to work well over that spiffy femur in the front of your leg. (is that right?) So between the two...I'd vote for the Venus.

    okay...taking off my man-skirt, now.

I prefer the Mach. It doesn't have all of that "crap" around the razors, so I get a really close smooth shave.

The Venus is ok...but the other razors are more inexpensive and shave better, IMHO.

mojo jojo is right, less cuts with the venus. I was using my man's mach 3 to save money in college, but now that i'm a rich stripper I realized the venus is a lot more pube shaving friendly.

A good razor to avoid is the Intuition (I think that is what it is called) with the shaving cream and razor all in one. I was never able to get a close shave with it and it seemed like the soap was gone after the 2nd or 3rd time I used it. I use Venus.

i actually like the Intuition. What i like is you can just shave with the water running in the shower because with shaving cream, a drop of water makes it all rinse off. For the bikini area I like it because you should only be using the razor 2 or 3 times, so its a good way to ensure that you change it enough, however, they are expensive.
