    Going dark?

Last night at a store i tried on this wig! It was a nice chocolate brown mayeb a tad lighter. So i am tired of the blonde..Again. I have not gone dark in years now. But the blonde fades my features, and the dark seems to harsh. I need help. I will be doing this at home sinse i do know how to make a colour grab, and look right (at leat i used to) so please i just need an opinion about hair colour. It is fall, i will keep it as long as i can. Colour tends to fade, fine with me. Maybe in the future a few blondes around the face. I do want so bad to take the plunge. Seems so many people are doing it.

Anyway this is me brown, and me blonde. PLease which one do you all like better. Whoa first pic. WAY too much make-up for me....

This is tough, or i will just buy a wig..lol

That last pic with the blond curls, you look AWESOME Pamela...

I wouldn't go dark. Have you considered a strawberry blonde? Or some other reddish shade? Busty redheads are the shiz....

You're sexy and gorgeous both ways, but I think you look more sophisticated as a brunette.

I love the way you look in both colors as well. That brunette looks very good with your skin tone. If you ever want to go brunette, def. get that shade....it's not too dark for you. And change is a good thing. I think you should go for it.

I think you look better as a blonde..But maybe if you want a change keep it blonde but just go to a different shade of blonde, maybe to a honey blonde, there are so many shades of blonde, but I'm talking from experince, stick with the blondes..Or maybe add some low lights for a different look.,

Seems right now the thing is brown with some light streaks. SO, if i just turn this around and get some lowlights, it's pretty much the same thing i guess. I already have the blonde, so if i take certain strands and put dark brown through them via cap i should tone it down right?

Can someone put up a picture of a female in long hair with blonde and streaks, but dark streaks?????? I have looked and can't friggin find. If you do please post!

I like both, but I think you look great in the brunette. You look so exotic and wild almost. Let me know what you decide.

mmm...I like them all!! But, if you must change. I like the brunette look for ya with big sexy curls like in your last pic. Also, try going a bit lighter brunette.
Oo eventhough I couldnt find much either but Ill describe this as much as I can: Medium brown all over with dark almost black underneath like two different tones on both of the two section of hair (top and bottom) and then do the brown lowlights thing.
Good luck...besides if you hate it you can always go back just have a great conditioner.

You look gorgeous, Pamela! But I like the brunette look for some reason. I considered dying my hair brown but I love being a blonde.

Have you ever thought about 'dirty blonde'? My hair is golden blonde....Yours is a bit lighter than mine. I like the idea of some brown highlights.

Iam with tampafldancer. I say a light brown or dark honey blonde with your light blonde. Or just some reddish brown lowlights. Jessica simpson had hers with low light before. Find a pic on one of her sights. I think that would look best. Too dark washes you out but darker makes the eyes stand out more. But too dark makes people look older too. So I think one of the first two. They say never go much darker than your color you were born with and you are sweedish and light. Post a pic when you do it. I just added low lights to my very blonde hair and I was unhappy, went back and had him lighten it and got breakage. Well good luck.

I'm with Tampa...go with a darker blonde. Low lights are a good idea.

Have you seen the latest Gap commercials with Sarah Jessica Parker? I love that new color she has!! It's like a bronzed brown, very hot. Take notice when you see the commercial.

Girly, you look absolutely gorgeous with the blonde curls, and although the brown doesn't look bad the blonde is the best with your features, bar nun.

I'd go with a lighter brown. As you say, the blonde is so light that it's hard to look elsewhere! I like how the brown brings your features forward, but it's a bit to dark. My $0.02, though, and what do I know? Haven't colored my hair in ages.

I think lowlights would look awesome! I died my hair way too blonde for my features a little while ago, so I went and got lowlights and it looked great! I'm red right now, though, lol....I get bored, too!!! Maybe you could even do two different colors of lowlights...my hairdresser usually does....like a lighter caramel color brown and then a bit darker brown. I think that would look hot! But you're already HOT!!!! I still don't believe your age!!!!!! YOU'RE GORGEOUS!

I tried to dig up some pictures! I absolutely ADORE Jennifer Aniston and have always been a huge fan of all of her hairstyles and colors!

What do you think of these??

Thank you Devinn! The first pic of Jen is close to what i am going for, however, i don't go to salons...so i am trying to get colour to grab my blonde first, with out turning blue or green. Been down this road before and it's worth the time. So i bought this colour because Loreal said it will cover blonde well. It's going to be dark, but i know it fades after a few shampoos...GOOD!

I may pull up a few smaller blonde strands while i do this, and if i can't get it right, the whole head will go this colour....But highlights in the future.

What a change this will be for me. But i love change. I am just too washed out with my blonde, and a guy at work (the hospital) refers to me as the blonde all the time about important issues....Fuck that.

Besides i am READY for a change. Crap it looks very dark, almost black. But it's a medium brown.

    Pamela,

Have you looked at the L'Oreal Couleur Experte series? I don't know if you've already taken the plunge and dyed, but if not you may want to check them out. The entire line comes with the base color and a highlight. It's a little pricey but SO worth it. I picked a dark brown close to my natural shade and the highlights turned out this gorgeous cinnamon honey color.

They have a little web questionnaire thingy to give you some ideas on color at : http://www.lorealparis.ca/en/haircol...pert/index.asp

    Just another idea

    Pamela-
Although I like the dark hair, your hair is so beautiful light blonde, especially with the curls. Could mistake you for Pam Anderson in that pic. I don't think you should damage your hair with permanent color, your hair is too beautiful for that. If you must satisfy the urge just buy a wig! BTW- the guy at your hospital probably refers to you as "the blonde", cuz you have great hair, and he is prob. attracted to you. Bottom line- most girls would kill for big beautiful blonde hair like yours.

Saw her highlights over Thanksgiving, and it's no lie. Not only does the darling Miette have the thickest, most beautiful, shiny long hair ever, she's got some bitchin' highlights, too.
