Go rent the movie and look for it in the credits? That's all I can think of.
Or go over to amazon and listen to the clips from the soundtrack.
Damn, that's some cheesy stuff.

i actually have that song. don't ask me why....just one of those random things.
waffles are just pancakes with little squares on them.

A huge proportion of techno has no lyrics. I could probably find you something from that genre easily--what style of techno do you like? Rock, breakbeat, or what?
Crystal Method has a lot of songs with little or no lyrics that have a rock feel to them. I am especially fond of "Vapor Trail" from their first CD.

Djoser, I actually love house and techno with female vocals. I will never find the one I heard at Exit one night... no lyrics except the girl going, "La la la doooooooooooooooooooo duh duh. La La La doooooooooooooooooo duh duh"
Oh well right???
I love all kinds of techno!
The song you are lookin for is actually called "Love Theme from Saint Elmo's Fire..."
DONT ask me why I know that lol
Mmmmmm, sweet sweet Crystal Method... "Vapor Trail" is such a bitchin' track.

Sorry, Lexi, and everyone else who might wonder where one of the music guys has been, or why he keeps posting shit in PP or CC instead of finding us more cool music.
I haven't worried as much about Music Mix as I maybe should be, since so little controversy ever occurs here, we have two other moderators to handle it too, and we have so many excellent DJs and knowledgable dancers who are posting nowadays (which is f**king fantastic!). Shame on me, for being lazy and complaisant.
Here ya go Lexi, a couple more good lyricless tracks, for now...
"Pepper Spray" DJ Baby Anne--one of the best of the many Central Florida breakbeat DJs--this does have "Pick up on this" sung a few times, but it's basically lyric-free, and one of the hottest breakbeat techno tracks in existence. My girlfriend hates techno, and she loves this...
"Jam the Box '99" (Sharaz remix)-- this is one of the best things Sharaz ever did, of many--this track and the first are both on the superlative "Bass Queen in the Mix" CD, by Baby Anne, her best
"Go Bang" (DJ Baby Anne)--There is a mixed-in male voice saying "Go Bang" periodically. I have seen this credited to other DJs, as well--my version is, but I can't find it right now. This is hot, and definitely not for the faint of heart...
"The Fury" DJ Baby Anne
""Join Me" (Dave London breaks mix) Lightforce--Be warned this, though it has far more balls than the vast majority of techno out there, does have a short bit with piano, at about 3:26 in, followed by a breakdown segment, after which it kicks back in at 4:15 and continues to hammer down the bass quiet well. One manager where I was under suspicion for playing "wierd' music, instead of the "upbeat, happy, pop and top 40", and Stevie B's "Spring Love" the general manager and owner wanted to hear, unfortunately walked into the club right then, and later told me he would "kick my ass if you ever play that upstairs" (the sister club). I didn't take him too seriously, since I could have snapped his spine like a twig, but it didn't help my reputation there. You could just tell the DJ to cut it at 3 1/2 minutes and save yourself the trouble.
"Try Me" Databass--start this one about 40 seconds in, it slows down again at 3:40, and though it does kick back in, thats a 3 minute song so it should work well.

Lexi, there is a techno version with no lyrics of Stairway to Heaven that is awesome.. I did a search for "Techno" and found it that way.. don't know if you like techno, but it is a very cool remix.

Sounds great--I love well-done techno remixes. Also it will be a great way to deal with those old codgers who request it. Watch their jaw drop when you say "Sure, I can play that!", because noone ever can in a stripclub (if they want to keep their job, and the goodwill of the dancers while playing a slow 11 minute song, lol), though we have all heard it asked for ad infinitum.Originally Posted by Gynger
There's plenty of other Led Zeppelin that is great to play, though, and come to think of it, I think some of their good songs have no lyrics. Hmmm...
