    Default garlic..

The other nite my boyfriend made dinner, a a fancy pasta, which contained some garlic, but not too much..Next nite at work,a customer said he smelled garlic.I was wearing a vanilla body spray, and had freshly washed hair/fresh breath,...What perfume do you think I should wear for "day after garlic in my pasta" nights?Maybe something stronger like CocoChanel?or are there some tricks to not smelling of garlic?I have heard it DOES come out your pores!(and Im not gonna discourage the boyfriend from cooking!)Thanx!

I would suggest exercising so you can sweat it out before you go into work.

Damn...I think I'd enjoy that. In fact, I'm still waiting for something to create a "beef" scented perfume. YUM

Lol. Yes i am a garlic and onion freak! You will sweat it out. The odour can stay with your breath for days, that is why people offer parsley after garlic, it will help with odour, parsley contains a chemical...Shit forgot the name, but yes helps alot with the breath and body sweat as it breaks down the "stink."

Sorry... the garlic is INSIDE you.. and yes... it does come out through your pores. You can't just try to hide it with perfumes... they can only do so much. Your best bet is to sweat it out like OTB has said.

Go to a sauna.. or do some sort of exercise that will help you sweat...

You should try taking Chlorophyll tablets, thats the stuff in parsley that deodorizes the body naturally. It will get rid of those garlic odors after eating and also when you use the bathroom your shit won't stink literally . You can get it at health food stores. Also I'm new to the board and I just wanna say hi to everybody!

If you eat smal doses more often the smell gets less, the body functions get used to it....
as to prevent a "day after", sweating is really good. Too much perfume can make things even worse....
