You might want to check out the S-Factor book. Also, if there are any girls in the club that do pole tricks, you may want to ask them for some tips. I learned by asking some of the girls that were good and they would stay after hours and help me.

There are also quite a few DVD's available...

How do you build up that upper body strength? I can barely climb the pole. I'm aslo very tall and scared I'll break my neck. Any tips.

Push ups, pull ups, hand stand push ups...Pilates and Yoga are good. And, of course, practicing climbing up and down the pole and some spins will build that upper body strength.

I know it sounds ridiculous but the jungle gym and monkey bars on playgrounds help.

^ LOL...yeah, there have been a few times that while my daughter is playing in the park I would do a few pole tricks to "keep my form".
