    Default Thinking outside the box

The club got 150 new chairs!!!!!
    woooo hoooo!!!!
    They are sweat!!!!!!

Im the lucky fucker who got the boxes they came in !!!!!

I built the coolest caRDboard fort for the twin 4 year olds all around the house and on the front porch, with connecting tunnels of course.
The tunnels run down the hall and into 5 different rooms with outpost and lookout towers in each room!If the tree wasnt set up,i cudda gone into the den.

The twins went in this morning and have only been out a few times to pee.Im thinking of sending in a search party now that the dogs have gone in and not come back out.
Before anyone asks, they voted already, its "NO BOYS ALLOWED"(except daddy or i wouldnt build it)
Without a doubt,im the best dam fort builder in the world!!!!

Thats my SO in the pic.Mama bear isnt happy cause her furniture is on the back porch and she has to enter the stalag 17 tunnels to get to the bathroom or the bedroom.

OMG I used to love empty cardboard boxes as a kid!!! Your a cool dad. I bet they love it!!
Question is how long are you gonna have a house of tunnels???
you live like an ivy vine
you can only survive by clinging onto trees
    that's your flaw
put down some roots so you can stand on your own

    Re: Thinking outside the box

When I was little, I had a refrigerator box that I loved! It was my own little house. My mom even covered the inside with that contact paper (like the stuff you line drawers and cupboards with) so it looked like I had wallpaper. I was so sad when we moved and I had to get rid of it.

Keep up the good daddying BigGreen!!

    Outstanding effort!

When my sisters and I were kids, we used to stack boxes up in our driveway, ride our bikes to the end of the driveway, then pedal through the boxes at full speed. Made for hours of hilarity.

LOL That kicks major ass, BigGreen! I don't throw my boxes away until the kids have gotten full-use of them, and I even hop in there with them. heh

My older sister and I really didn't build anything with boxes when we were little, but we did hop in the boxes and fly down the stairs in them. THAT was awesome! lmfao

haha YAY i do stuff like that all the time, also incorporating the dining room chairs and assorted blankets. good work, sir. oh, and Rhi....my kids do the box-down-the-stairs thing all the time. it's hilarious because the wall is only about 4 feet away at the bottom of the steps and the foyer is stone floors. you hear "thump thump thump WHOOOSH BANG CRACK....ow! C'MON LET'S DO IT AGAIN!"

That's too awesome, and your girls are adorable! Boxes are the bestest toys ever, I lived in a dishwasher box when I was like, 7 or something.

Way fun! I loved a big box when i was little. I would try to build a room with sheets hanging over a big box or two. I felt so safe and cozy. I played with my barbies all day in that big box.

    Us girls just LOVE them.

Too cool, dude! Toys 'R' Us has never come close to anything comparable, and for all the right reasons, never will... congrats - in all likelihood, you've just created one of those "childhood memories" that last forever. Beautiful!!!

    HAHAHA...thats sweet.

    You're kids are lucky.

The most creative thing my dad ever did was hit me with a wooden spoon instead of his hand. At least he was using his imagination that day
