Lightbulb Just in time for Xmas,a brain fart!!

Ok I got a wacky idea for xmas stage gear ,only i dont know how to pull it off.
Will try to describe what im looking for and maybe others can help?

Ok I have seen xmas lights powered by battery and not plugged into the wall.I have even seen entertainers over the year who wrap themselves up with it on stage.
I always thought it was a great looking and the girl always made money.
A problem is no floor show because rolling around on xmas lights tends to be painfull.
well, about a month ago,one of our girls was looking to do a domme set and was looking for ideas on outfits to go with the black lace up thiegh high black boots.I suggested a black business blazer long enough to look skirtish,a white thong, and a Karada(its japanese rope bondage, sorta like a shirt or a top, heres a link for a visual.)with white rope that glows under the black lites.I also tried to get her to swap laces from black to white on her boots for the set but she said no fuckin way,to much work.Oh well.
Anyways,I stopped by Home depot and got some white "soft"rope and tied it on her the next night. It made for a great outfit!!!Great contrast with the black and white.

    Ok heres the idea.

A Karada made from rope lights!

I think the rope lights make a floor show possible because its in a plastic tube thingy and not the sharp bulbs of reg xmas lights.

The problem is how to power the dam thing.
(and of course where to attach the power supply to the dancer so it wont limit movement or fall off on pole spins.

Anyone got any ideas on how I can pull this off???

Or should i step away from the crack pipe, its a really stupid idea ,and im liable to short circut a poor innocent entertainer?

They sell 12 volt rope lighting that is only 1/2" diameter and I have even seen flat (about 1/4") that could be used it's just rigging a power supply for it. It may be possible to use a 9 volt battery for power on a short term basis. I can tell you more tommorow, let me get to the shop and play for awhile. LOL.

Can you not get some plastic tubing and insert battery powered lights in the tubing? Make your own rope lights?

You all do realize that they sell clothes that light up. You can even get light up thongs! they come with a battery in them and they are not bulky or anything. I am not sure where you get them but I have seen them and girls tell me that they bought the outft like that.
