A friend of mine who had hers redone said it isn't as bad the 2nd time around because the pockets etc are already there.

Second time around is a piece of cake compared to the first time. The majority of pain and discomfort from the original surgery was due to the plastic surgeon having to dissect your breast/pec muscle tissue to create a pocket. In the case of a second surgery the pocket already exists and the PS only needs to enlarge it around the edges.
One word of advice though. If you're going to go to the trouble and expense of a second surgery, I would HIGHLY recommend that you go at least 250cc's bigger on your implant size, maybe 300cc's bigger. I only went from 300cc to 500cc with my second surgery, and other than moderately improved cleavage, it made essentially no difference in my cup size and nobody even noticed ! Remember that as implant ratings go up in cc's, the majority of those extra cc's go into a bigger diameter and not forward projection.
In regard to the recovery period, although you will feel much better much sooner, you should still allow the same amount of time for your incisions to heal to full strength (typically 4 weeks) before doing anything strenuous like dancing again.
your so lucky, wish I had the money to go bigger, anyways wish you luck.
btw I agree with Melonie about going big enough because it volume fill isn't linear meaning that you need more volume to increase cup size from D to DD then from B to C for example.

Yes, exactly. New mplants which have 1/2" more forward projection to increase your cup size are also going to have probably 1/2" more height and width. A rough guess at this is the 2/3 pi R ^3 formula for the volume of a half-sphere. If you have implants now with say R = 2 inches (= 5cm) and you want to add an extra 3/4" to R (= 2cm) for an extra 1 and 1/2 cup sizes, this requires a volume increase from 262cc to 718cc !btw I agree with Melonie about going big enough because it volume fill isn't linear meaning that you need more volume to increase cup size from D to DD then from B to C for example.

Damn,that's a big difference.

i have 365cc's right now and hes putting in 510cc's to go from a d to a dd. i'm 5'3'' and weigh about 125, size 5. do you think hes putting in enough? maybe 560?
In general, I think about 150 cc represents one cup size. Obviously, the bigger you are the more you need to notice a difference but with 510 cc you'll see a difference. High profile or even the Mentor Moderate Plus may be something you'd be interested in.

I have 420 cc's and look about the same size as a freind of mine that has only 320 cc's. I am going in to get mine bigger and i am not sure how much bigger would give me the results I want. I am 5'8 135lbs. I have a wider frame. I was thinking about going to 600 cc's. Does anyone know about how big that would get me? With my 420's I am a small D.

I went from a 525 cc implant to 800ccs 6 1/2 yrs ago...I am a DDD/F cup...I know I've posted this info before..but the recovery period was so much easier the 2nd time and less painful as well....My first time I slept and could barely move for over a week..Yet I was back to work after 2 weeks..My 2nd time I was moving around after a couple of days(that surgery's recoverytime was much shorter)

try to go as big as the surgeon can fit in that is what i did i have 900cc going bigger in a few months.
Jayda-
why do you want to go bigger?

my goal from day one was to be 2000cc. i love the way fake huge breast look. i guess its my fetish. lol. i got my first boob job last year got 380cc that was the most the doc could fit. then went in for a second he put in 575cc. then went to another doc and he put the 800cc implant the biggest avaible by mentor that is legal in canada. overfilled it to 900cc was wanting 1000cc but it didn;t fit. next surgery i am getting the custom made ones that should bring me to 1300cc-1400cc. then wait about 1 year and go for the 2000cc.
Hey, Thanks for the advise, I have an appt with my doc in a few weeks and I think I will ask him for 625's![]()
Oh, and Jayda, your breasts are beautiful.![]()

thank u ctefy. just consider going as big as ur body can handle so u have no regrets. like look at mine i have the largest implant available by mentor and they don't look weird or that unnatural
funny this came up. i have an appt for restylne in a few weeks and im getting a consultation for a redo on my boobs. i know they will probley need to be bigger from skin streaching but i didnt realise it needs to be that much more. i am a d with 480 unders i was only thinking of going up a small amount i guess i need to rethink this as i would like to be a dd. comments please

Is there a limit as to what your body can handle as far as implant size? I have read about bottoming out and symastia, (bread loafing) and I think it can happen from going to big with implants?
I have 420 ccs right now and am getting 850ccs on Jan 7th. I'm 5'10' so I'm not sure that 850's will even be big enough. I want them HUGE. Where can I find information about the custum 1000+ cc implants. The Dr.s are all very conservative out my way and don't want to go any la rger than 850.
